Inspiring Conversations with Michael Mosley of Reviv Green

Today we’d like to introduce you to Michael Mosley.

Hi Michael, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Your Story: The Journey of Reviv Green

Early Beginnings and Inspiration:
I was raised in the Fifth Ward of Houston, Texas, an urban area that came with its share of hardships. While growing up in an underprivileged environment and navigating the CPS system was challenging, it also helped shape who I am today. Those experiences taught me resilience and determination, and they became the foundation that fueled my drive to make a difference.

The Turning Point and Founding Reviv Green:
As a personal trainer, I was passionate about helping people transform their lives and find motivation. Sports also played a huge role in my life, teaching me about teamwork and building strong bonds. After a near-death experience with energy drinks, I realized I wanted to create healthier alternatives—and that’s how Reviv Green came to life.

Building the Business and Looking Ahead:
With a mission to build a company focused on health and sustainability, we’ve grown Reviv Green into what it is today. And at the heart of it all is this belief: no matter where you start or what challenges you face, you can turn your dreams into reality.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Not Always a Smooth Road
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, and that’s part of what makes the journey meaningful. One of the big challenges was starting out with limited resources. Coming from an underprivileged background, I didn’t have a lot of capital or connections to get things off the ground easily. That meant I had to be really resourceful and creative in finding ways to fund and grow Reviv Green.

Learning Curves and Setbacks
Another major obstacle was navigating the learning curves of the business world. There were plenty of moments where things didn’t go as planned—whether it was figuring out the right formulations for our products or learning the ropes of running a sustainable business. Each setback was a lesson in resilience and adaptation.

Staying True to the Mission
Staying true to our mission was also a challenge at times. There’s always a temptation to cut corners or go for the easy route, but we made a commitment to focus on health and sustainability, even when it was harder. That commitment required a lot of perseverance and faith in the long game.

Looking Back and Moving Forward
All in all, the road has had its bumps, but each challenge helped shape Reviv Green and made us stronger. It’s those struggles that built the resilience we have today.

We’ve been impressed with Reviv Green, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Building the Foundation:
I’d say the professional side of my journey really started with a vision to fill a gap in the market for clean, healthy, and sustainable products. Starting Reviv Green wasn’t just about launching a business—it was about building something that aligned with my values and that could truly help people live healthier lives.

Growing the Business:
From the ground up, it was all about learning the ropes of entrepreneurship. We focused on staying true to our mission, building strong relationships with suppliers who shared our values, and gradually expanding our reach. There were a lot of strategic decisions along the way—like figuring out how to scale sustainably and how to market our products to reach people who really needed them.

Key Business Lessons:
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is the importance of resilience and adaptability. In the business world, things change constantly, and being able to pivot while staying true to our core values has been key. Another big takeaway is that building a successful business is as much about building relationships and trust as it is about having a great product. What

Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
Look, the truth is that my journey hasn’t been all smooth sailing, and that’s something I want to be upfront about. As someone who grew up in the Fifth Ward of Houston and came from an environment where resources were limited, I had to learn a lot of things the hard way.

When it comes to finding mentors, let me keep it 100: a lot of times when I went out actively searching, it didn’t click. You know, it’s not always easy to find people who truly get where you’re coming from or who are ready to invest their time in you. But what I found is that when you stay authentic and keep doing your thing, the right people kind of find you. It’s almost like the universe lines it up.

For me, networking has been about keeping it real and not trying to put on a front. I’ve found that when you’re genuine about your goals and you’re genuinely interested in other people’s stories, that’s when you build real connections. It’s not just about collecting business cards—it’s about building relationships that are solid and that actually mean something.

So yeah, that’s my take. It’s about staying true to who you are, letting the right connections come naturally, and just keeping it authentic every step of the way.
