Hi Nathalia, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My Story
About a decade ago I decided I was done with the toxic cycles of relationships and friendships. I figured I was the common denominator and that launched me into the world of self healing. From talk therapy to YouTube affirmation rabbit holes, I was dedicated to healing myself. Throughout that journey, not only was my mental and emotional health improving but my physical and spiritual self was also impacted. Turning to holistic methods of healing, I eventually found Reiki, a Japanese method of energy healing. I received Reiki for about a year before I decided to take the courses myself, and my entire life changed. That directionless feeling turned into a honed direction and passion which I struggled finding for most of my life. I learned quickly, developed my healing abilities past Reiki into Qi Gong, Pranic healing, Sound Frequency and Herbalism among other modalities. I ended up having a massive spiritual awakening through it all and now I am a powerful healer, getting stronger daily with devotion to this calling. I decided to leave corporate and open my own business, Aligning Light Reiki in September of 2025. This is where I focus my skills and abilities to help you with deep wound/trauma healing, protections and specializing in extractions for individuals, partnerships, families, pets, and residences while providing tools and resources for people to maintain their spiritual hygiene and increase their mental and emotional awareness. It’s been a long, meaningful, difficult and wildly wonderful journey.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely has not been a smooth road. Facing your inner demons, your pain, your trauma, while unlearning the pressures of culture, religion and society, while also in the pursuit of re-connecting with your inner-self, has been incredibly difficult. I won’t downplay that. Most people stay living in fear because it’s a known place and “easier” (but is it really?). Moving into the unknown to develop as a human and soul is painful, hard and scary, not everyone has the will to do this. Looking at yourself in the mirror and telling yourself you’re beautiful, strong, allowed to be soft, allowed to be angry, to take up space, when everything and everyone tells you otherwise, is a skill that takes time to develop and embody. Then you have your body and spiritual wellbeing to care for while having limited access to healthy and nutritional foods, affordable management of illness and injuries and having a lack of education, and support. Aside from the emotional, mental, physical and spiritual self development, being an entrepreneur will present its own challenges in each of those categories. Leaving a steady income career to mold to the ebb and flow of self-employment is one of the most obvious shifts, but it also further develops and solidifies the “you” you’ve been working on. You need to be unshakably confident in your craft, learn to market and advertise yourself, and get over the fear of visibility. It’s constant work, a lifetime of dedication to your overall wellbeing while fighting a system that’s in place to keep you disconnected from yourself and your power.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Aligning Light Reiki, LLC?
Aligning Light Reiki is an alternative holistic wellness brand rooted in emotional, mental, physical and spiritual wellbeing. I specialize in extractions, banishments, and exorcisms that target deep wound and trauma healing, in this and past lifetimes, to promote inner connection, and momentum toward your purpose with a loving, peaceful life. In a world that has collective mental health and negative influences, I help cut that noise and help you come home to yourself.
I am a bit different than other practitioners working with these heavier energies and entities. Not all of us do this, and the ones who do don’t always speak about it as openly as I do. I also imbue all I do with protections specifically, which is not commonly seen in westernized Reiki practices. This is a big deal, just because we can’t see it, or don’t want to believe it, doesn’t mean we can skip protections. I also have extreme somatic responses to energy clearings. You can easily see I’m clairsentient and I am expelling negative energy. Similar to that of the character John Coffey in The Green Mile, who possesses supernatural healing abilities, it looks just like that (minus the black spots but everything else aligns and then some). It’s taxing on the body but neat to witness.
I am proud that I started this brand, that I am aligned with my calling and purpose. That I strive daily to be the best, strongest, honest, empathetic, courageous and soft version of myself in all ways. I want to help others reach their full potential, to feel relief, comfort and safety. I want to heal as many and as much as I can.
I work with individuals, partnerships, weddings, small family groupings, animals and pets, and residences/land. My sessions are generally a couple of hours long, we start with a discussion, flow into intention setting, then the healing portion that leads into a post discussion with clear next steps and tips to maintain your healing. Luckily I work mostly at a distance, therefore I can reach clients all over the world.
I also curate herbal products to promote additional healing. One of the products I provide are spiritual bath kits. These are great for deep cleansing, breaking of generational curses, and those who seek relief. I also curate herbal tea blends for womb healing, cycle management, and herbal smoke blends to smoke alone or mix into cannabis. Everything is imbued with intentions for healing, peace and protections.
Aligning Light Reiki also collaborates with other healers to create workshops, masterclasses, pop-up wellness events, markets and healing hours to connect the community, making healing accessible to all.
In several ways, I provide energy healing for the soul and I help you come home to yourself. I am your dedicated healer.

I haven’t been to Huston before, therefore I can’t answer, but I have heard great things. I have travelled all over the US and the globe. I am from California, and have lived in New Mexico, New Jersey, Florida and even in Spain for a short time, but I love living in New York. I am excited to see what city my heart and craft takes me to next.
