Inspiring Conversations with Oneil Fuller of Support HVACR Trade Inc

Today we’d like to introduce you to Oneil Fuller.

Hi Oneil, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Support HVACR Trade Inc. was founded to close the gap between HVACR education and real-world job readiness.

As both an HVAC contractor and instructor, I saw students leaving programs with theory but lacking confidence and practical skills, and employers left to bridge that gap on their own. Instead of waiting for the system to change, I built what was missing.

Support HVACR Trade Inc. delivers practical, field-driven training that prepares students for real work, not just certifications. Our mission is to shorten the learning curve, strengthen workforce readiness, and create clear pathways from training to employment.

We exist to support students, educators, and the HVACR industry, by turning knowledge into capability.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It hasn’t been a smooth road.

Everything costs money, and as a single individual, I’ve largely funded this myself, building what I can, when I can. Funding has been and still is the biggest challenge, but it’s forced me to be intentional, resourceful, and focused on delivering real value for students and the trade.

As you know, we’re big fans of Support HVACR Trade Inc. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Support HVACR Trade Inc. is a mission-driven workforce development organization focused on closing the HVACR skill gap by connecting early education, practical training, and real-world job readiness. Founded by an HVAC contractor and instructor, the organization was built to address the disconnect between traditional education and what the field actually demands.

We specialize in hands-on, field-driven HVACR training and instructional materials designed around real jobsite scenarios, modern systems, troubleshooting, safety, and workforce readiness. Our programs are built to shorten the learning curve and help students transition confidently from training into the field. We are known for practical, no-fluff education that prioritizes performance, not just certifications.

What sets us apart is our full-pipeline approach to workforce development. In addition to adult and technician training, we also create educational children’s books that introduce HVACR concepts and career awareness at an early age. By exposing kids to the trades through engaging stories and problem-solving, we help plant the seed of interest long before career decisions are made, something most training organizations don’t address.

Brand-wise, we are most proud of our commitment to accessibility, impact, and authenticity. Everything we build is grounded in real experience and designed to serve students, educators, and employers alike. Our goal isn’t scale for the sake of scale; it’s outcomes that matter.

What we want readers to know is simple: Support HVACR Trade Inc. exists to strengthen the future of the trade by turning early inspiration into skills, skills into confidence, and confidence into long-term careers.

What’s next?
Our focus moving forward is growth with purpose.

We plan to expand our training programs and instructional materials to reach more students, schools, and workforce partners, while continuing to refine hands-on, field-relevant HVACR education. A major priority is scaling access, through partnerships, digital delivery, and funding, so more individuals can benefit from practical training without financial barriers.

We’re also excited to continue growing our children’s book series to introduce the skilled trades earlier and build long-term awareness of HVACR careers. Long term, the goal is to create a clear, connected pipeline from early exposure to workforce readiness, that helps close the HVACR skill gap nationwide.

What we’re most looking forward to is impact: seeing more students prepared, more employers supported, and the trade strengthened for the future.
