Hi Renee, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I always had an interest in the beauty industry and decided to find my spot in it. It’s landed me in the skincare community, where I’ve had the opportunity to independently own and grow my business, Pure Skin By Renee. I get to share a sacred space for others to feel good and healthy about their skin while having a moment to feel relaxed and stress-free.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t been a smooth road. Being independently owned, all decisions and tasks are up to you. It’s a big responsibility. It can get overwhelming at times and not knowing the outcome of some of your decision can be stressful or hard to make. Staying focused, believing in yourself and not giving up keeps you pushing forward.
We’ve been impressed with Pure Skin By Renee, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I’m a Licensed Esthetician specializing in skincare and facial services. I’m best known for educating my clients on their skin while providing a relaxing service and a tranquil atmosphere. I’m most proud of my results and the experience I’m able to give my clients. I think what sets me apart is how I express myself and my creativity in both skincare and self-care. My brand represents a space where others can care for themselves and their skin with pure intentions.
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
I didn’t know what an Esthetician was until I read something I was looking up. I googled it and that’s when I decided to get my license for it the same year.
