Today we’d like to introduce you to Rolanda Boutte.
Hi Rolanda , so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I am a 44 year old woman of God, mother and successful CEO of Divine Purpose Real Estate Team. I remember as a little girl having dreams and visions of becoming an entrepreneur. I grew up in a single mother home, watching my mother struggle working a 9-5 to provide for my sister and I. I left home at an early age trying to find myself and my place in this world of what I saw as confusion. I kept with me the most important aspect in life and that was the Word of God. I encountered plenty of trials, tribulations, setbacks and failures. However, my story did not end there. After 4 kids, Javon, Jasmine, Jaliyah and Jalen I knew it was time to figure out how and what type of legacy I was leaving them. I wanted better for them and for myself.
I worked in Oil and Gas for almost 10 years and during this time, I started fasting more, praying more and seeking God more. I remember one day asking God for guidance to become an entrepreneur. I knew with Him all things are possible as stated in Matthew 19:26. I knew I didn’t have the funds to start a business, however, I knew I served a God who can do all things if I ask. I asked and he gave me Divine ideas and Divine guidance. I stepped out on faith and started real estate school at Champions School of Real Estate. With all transparency, I was nervous and it was not easy, however, I kept pushing. I started my career with my broker’s office at Keller Williams Realty Professionals. Five years ago I created my own brand, Divine Purpose Real Estate Team.
Divine Purpose Real Estate Team is inspired by God and the visions he has placed in my heart to make a Divine Impact in the Real Estate Industry. I know there is more to come, this is only the beginning of greatness. I desire to continue to allow Him to lead me, while walking in my purpose to inspire other women and help families become homeowners while building a legacy. My vision is to become an influential realtor, making a Divine Impact in the world. For anyone who has dreams and visions, take a leap over fear and step out on faith. I did and so can you. My story is still being written, as of now I have helped many with their real estate needs and I’m not stopping here. God and I have work to do.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There were definitely some struggles. My first challenges were in my mind, which was fear of failure. Then believing that I could afford to maintain the tools financially needed to grow my business. However, with faith in God, everything became easier. There was a shift in my mindset. I believe if you change your thinking, you can change your world. Every action is led by a thought. Running a business is not easy, however, it can be done. Today I am living proof.
We’ve been impressed with Divine Purpose Real Estate Team, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am Texas Realtor, serving Houston and Surrounding Areas. Real Estate is my passion and no matter how big or small, I am here to help in all real estate needs. I specialize in Residential Real Estate. What sets me apart is my high level of communication and my strong passion for helping others achieve their goals in homeownership. I am proud of my brand because I am operating a Christian based business in a secular world without compromising my values. My values are God, Family and Business.
