Hi Samantha, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today. 

Hi my name is Samantha Trevino. I’m a Houston, Texas native raised in the city’s northwest region. I was raised by my mother and am the youngest of three. In a household dominated by strong male influences, my early years were shaped with tenacity and empathy. Some of my fondest memories are of assisting my father in nursing abandoned animals back to health. Something that helped shape my commitment to living a compassionate and purposeful life.

In my professional life, I dedicate myself to real estate, where I sell not just properties but the American dream itself. I help educate homeowners and buyers so that they are able to leverage their investments for generations to come. In this business, every transaction is different, and I say transaction lightly because it’s more than just a sale. I understand that behind every sale lies a story of trust, memories, and transition.

Looking ahead, I’m committed to expanding my business while continuing to support non-profit initiatives like the Houston Humane Society Wildlife Center. I aspire to continue my support for local initiatives and to invest in the vibrancy of our beautiful city.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
One of the beauties of working in the real estate industry is that you can almost always find a client base that compliments your personality type. I can come off as a shy person, and that has challenged me to find ways to meet new people. Through that journey, I discovered that by following my natural born passions, not only would I be giving back to myself but also meeting the people that share the same interests.

Certainly! What sets me apart from others is my commitment to personalized service and attention to detail. What I am most proud of brand-wise are the values that I advocate for. By fostering inclusivity and promoting self-love, I strive to create a welcoming and supportive environment for my clients, regardless of background or identity. This dedication to diversity not only strengthens our community but also enhances the vibrancy and resilience of Houston’s real estate market and economy.

What would you say has been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
One of the most important lessons I’ve learned along my journey as a real estate agent is the significance of building genuine relationships with clients. While transactions are pivotal, the trust and rapport established with each client are equally crucial. I’ve found that fostering these connections not only enhances the client-agent relationship but also leads to long-term success and satisfaction for both parties involved.
