Today we’d like to introduce you to San Cheng.
Hi San, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I’m a big Dragonball Z fan. Growing up I remember coming back from school in middle school just to watch it. Of course not missing an episode on Cartoon Network. I remember that we got scolded and made fun off if we watch anime as adults. It wasn’t the cool thing I guess. Look at it now. Now everyone is into it and its the cool thing to do. So many great anime now but, Dragonball Z will always be the OG. Till this very day I am still watching it going into super. I’m just grateful to be able to bring something into our city to where it brings out everyone young, old, far and near. No matter who you are we all can relate. Especially when great food is involved.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road has not been smooth whatsoever. Our date or expected day to open did not happen. It took us almost a year to open. From contractors giving us issues to permits to just about everything but, we didn’t let that stop us from bringing and delivering for our community.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
We are a noodle bar. We are unique noodle bar. We specialize in making great noodle with a texasian fusion. We are different from the rest by how we incorporate our flavor with southern. So our brand is the dragon and a dragon represent and symbolize in strength, power, and good luck and royalty. So when you come in and visit us, expect great service offering.
Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
We love collaboration. For example, we love collaborating with other small local businesses in our city in our community. Like our brisket, we don’t cook it ourself. We actually partner with a local barbecue restaurant that actually smoke our brisket for us to put into our noodle in our food. If anyone like to collaborate with us, they can just send us an email or send us a message on our social media.
