Hi Sophia, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I always love candles and on Mother’s day 2019 my husband bought me my first candle-making kit. So I got into candle-making as a Hobbie, then I wanted to share to the world my talent. So Earth Goddess Shop was born in May 2020.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
It has not been a smooth road. It was a lot of testing going on and buying different supplies. You want to get a Great scent throw so you have to learn about different waxes and wicks and what wick is good for the wax you picked. Then it’s also about how much fragrance oil you need to put in, not too much not too little either. You also have to find that perfect vessel you want to use for your brand.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Earth Goddess Shop?
I specialize in intention candles and wax melts. Intention candles are candles infused or charge with energy of your intention and are used for meditation or to give you that positive energy around you. I am so proud of myself for not giving up when I have bad days. I love what I do. What sets me apart from others, I use coconut wax. Coconut wax lasts longer when burning and it’s also a clean burn too.
Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
Most important lesson I have learned along my journey is not all friends and family will support you.
