Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephanie Garza.
Hi Stephanie, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to share my story — thank you.
My parents are the reason I started this business, and my faith in God has been the foundation of my success, along with the support of my husband and team leaders. I’ve been very fortunate to learn from incredible mentors, including Olga M. Garza, one of Houston’s top Hispanic real estate agents, as well as through Tatiana Londono’s coaching program. Being surrounded by successful industry leaders has helped shape both my business and my mindset.
To be transparent, my journey was not easy in the beginning. I sold my very first home during my first month in the industry through an open house, but after that, several months passed without a single sale. In my entire first year, I earned only $14,000 and felt very discouraged at times. However, my parents constantly encouraged me to keep pushing forward and continue working hard.
Through perseverance, discipline, consistency, and prayer, I slowly began earning the trust of friends, family, and eventually, complete strangers. A major turning point in my career came when we joined Nan and Company Properties, and I invested thousands of dollars into Tatiana Londono’s online coaching program. At the time, I hardly had the money to make that investment, but I knew I wanted to become the best agent possible so I could truly serve my clients at a high level.
By my third year in the industry, I became one of the top-selling agents within my brokerage, and today I have the honor of helping families buy and sell homes every week. I specialize in assisting both buyers and sellers throughout the Houston market, and I’m deeply grateful for the trust my clients place in me during such an important milestone in their lives.
My father was a successful business owner and always taught me the importance of being genuine, honest, and disciplined. Those values continue to guide me every day. I treat my clients like family because purchasing or selling a home is one of the biggest financial and emotional decisions a person can make, and I want every client to feel confident knowing they are truly being taken care of.
Thank you again for the opportunity to share my story.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I’ve gone through rejection, financial challenges, and a lot of discouraging moments, but I never quit. I always told myself that there was no plan B. I wanted to become a trusted agent in my market because I know that my intentions are always pure and I had the ability to serve families.
As you know, we’re big fans of Houston Real Estate Agent . For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I’m a real estate agent with Nan and Company Properties, and what sets me apart is my genuine dedication to guiding families through one of the biggest investments of their lives. My goal is always to protect my clients’ best interests, help save them money whenever possible, and guide them through every step of the buying or selling process to ensure the experience feels smooth, positive, and memorable.
I take a lot of pride in my communication, market knowledge, and negotiation skills. I’m very hands-on with my clients, and I work hard to handle challenges behind the scenes so they can feel confident and stress-free throughout the transaction. I believe my role goes far beyond simply selling a home — it’s about building trust, creating relationships, and truly being there for people during an important milestone in their lives.
One thing that’s very important to me is quality over quantity. My goal has never been to sell 100 homes a year just for numbers. Instead, I want every client to receive my full attention, time, and highest level of service. I value being personally involved in every transaction and making sure each client feels cared for, supported, and genuinely prioritized.
What does success mean to you?
Success to me means being able to spend time with my family while serving my client’s at the highest level and personally being involved in every sale.
