Inspiring Conversations with Stephanie Silva-Garza of The Femmepreneur Society

Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephanie Silva-Garza.

Hi Stephanie, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My journey started over a decade ago in the world of medical and legal sales, a fast-paced, competitive industry where I learned how to communicate, negotiate, and build relationships with confidence. For more than 10 years, I poured everything into my career, but deep down, I always knew I wanted to build something of my own. something that created real impact.

Eventually, I took the leap and left my corporate job to go all in on myself, launching my own legal funding company called Advanced Legal Funding. That transition was both exhilarating and humbling. I quickly realized entrepreneurship isn’t always understood by the people closest to you. Friends I thought would cheer me on became distant, some didn’t understand the sacrifices, and others even talked behind my back. It was isolating, but it also sparked something in me.

I knew there had to be other women out there like me…women who dream big, work hard, and want genuine connection, not competition. Women who don’t see each other as threats, but as inspiration. That’s when The Femmepreneur Society was born. a community and safe space for female entrepreneurs to connect, collaborate, and grow together.

Through this community, we’re building sisterhood and real friendships, not just networking. We host events that feel like girls’ nights mixed with business masterminds, and we provide the tools, education, and support to help women succeed in both life and business. What started as a small idea has grown rapidly, and we’re now expanding into new cities, proving that women truly thrive when they have the right community behind them.

I’m so proud of what we’re building with The Femmepreneur Society. It’s more than a business…it’s a movement reminding women that they deserve to be seen, heard, understood, supported, and celebrated.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, but I’ve learned that every challenge has shaped me into a stronger, wiser version of myself. When you start building something from the heart, you naturally want to see the best in people. I’ve always led with trust and collaboration, but unfortunately, not everyone operates with the same integrity or intentions.

Along the way, I’ve experienced people taking advantage of my openness and pretending to collaborate just to gather information, or misrepresenting costs and partnerships to benefit themselves. Those moments were difficult because I truly value community over competition, and it was disheartening to see others approach it differently.

But I’ve come to see those experiences as necessary growing pains. They taught me to set boundaries, protect my vision, and be more intentional about who I allow into my space. Most importantly, they reminded me of why The Femmepreneur Society exists, to create a community of women who uplift one another, celebrate each other’s wins, and succeed together without tearing anyone else down.

Every setback has been a lesson in alignment and I’m grateful for them, because they’ve helped me build a community that’s rooted in authenticity, trust, and genuine sisterhood.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about The Femmepreneur Society?
The Femmepreneur Society is more than just a business…it’s a movement and community built for ambitious women who are building their own legacies. We’re an empowering space for female entrepreneurs, founders, and creatives to connect, collaborate, and grow, both personally and professionally.

What makes us unique is the blend of education, empowerment, and genuine connection. Inside our community, we provide practical business tools, expert-led workshops, and growth resources designed to help women start, scale, and sustain their businesses. But beyond strategy and systems, we focus on sisterhood. We host in-person events that feel like a mix between a networking night and a girls’ night, fun, inspiring, and full of meaningful conversations and collaborations.

We’re known for creating spaces where women feel seen, supported, and celebrated, not judged or compared. Everything we do, from our membership experience to our community events and local city chapters, is designed to build confidence, connection, and collaboration.

Brand-wise, I’m most proud of the culture we’re creating. The Femmepreneur Society is redefining what it means to be a “girl boss.” It’s not about hustling alone & it’s about growing together. Our community is proof that when women support each other, magic happens.

For readers, I want them to know that The Femmepreneur Society isn’t just a place to network, it’s a place to belong. Whether you’re just getting started or scaling your business, you’ll find guidance, friendship, and a tribe of women who truly want to see you win.

Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
What I love most about Houston is its incredible diversity, it’s truly a melting pot of cultures, creativity, and opportunity. You can find any kind of business, any cuisine you’re craving, and any music scene you love, all right here in the same city. There’s a certain energy and entrepreneurial spirit in Houston that makes it such a vibrant place to live and build community.

What I like least? Definitely the summer heat! But honestly, even that has its upside…it just gives us more reason to enjoy pool days, rooftop hangouts, and quality time with friends and family.
