Trinity, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My name is Trinity Vu, and I am the proud owner of Poptastic Decor at just 19 years old. My passion for the event industry began when I had the privilege of helping my stepmother build her company, @Backdropsinbloom. Together, we built that business from the ground up with countless hours of hard work, dedication, and perseverance — and it was absolutely worth it.
My stepmother’s encouragement and expertise inspired me to launch my own company. She shared her invaluable knowledge and industry insights, which laid the foundation for where I am today. I began my journey as a balloon artist at 17, during my senior year of high school. Over time, I discovered a strong passion for event coordination, which led me to expand Poptastic Decor 1.5 years later to include event planning services.
At Poptastic Decor, I take pride in delivering the highest quality of work. Every detail matters to me, and I am committed to ensuring that every event runs seamlessly. I understand that finding someone you can trust with your event or decor can be stressful — but rest assured, when you book with me, you can expect professionalism, creativity, and flawless execution.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It hasn’t always been an easy road. One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced is simply finding consistent clients. Like many entrepreneurs, I’ve experienced both busy and slow seasons, and finding a steady flow of work remains a challenge. On top of that, managing social media is practically a full-time job in itself. Creating and posting content consistently while running a business can be overwhelming — something I know many fellow entrepreneurs can relate to!
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I specialize in creating luxury balloon backdrops and event coordination. What sets me apart from others is my deep-rooted knowledge and experience in the industry. My family has been in the event business for over 15 years, so this passion truly runs in my blood.
I understand that there are many talented event coordinators and balloon artists out there — but what makes me different is my adaptability. Like a chameleon, I can adjust to whatever role you need me to fill, ensuring that your vision is flawlessly executed. My strong commitment to detail allows me to create seamless, memorable events that leave a lasting impression. I’m dedicated to turning your special moments into unforgettable memories.
What matters most to you? Why?
My clients are at the heart of everything I do. Without them, I wouldn’t be where I am today. Seeing the smiles on their faces after an event is complete is incredibly rewarding, and hearing their praise about how well everything turned out is what keeps me motivated to keep improving and delivering my best.
