Today we’d like to introduce you to Tryncha Fiona Lee.
Hi Tryncha, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
A few years ago, I was in somewhat of a funk. I had lost all motivation to work out, I wasn’t happy with my body, and I just couldn’t shake the negative space I was in. I tried everything–workout challenges, accountability partners; you name it. Fast forward a couple of months to Christmas, I was gifted a workout set, and it was so cute that I was actually looking forward to going to the gym so that I can wear it. I know it’s a small thing, but the little spark of excitement this workout fit gave me was enough to get back in the gym. I immediately started ordering a bunch of cute sets online and fell back in love with working out and taking care of my body. Once I was back in the swing of things at the gym, I started posting post-workout selfies on my Instagram story and started receiving so many messages daily from women asking for links to the workout sets I was wearing. These messages sparked a thought, “I should be sending out my own link!” and from there, I started planning and working on my brand.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Throughout this process, I have learned that there is so much that goes into starting and running a business–building and maintaining the website, developing vendor relationships, learning business finances, marketing, etc. It’s a lot of work and very tedious, but seeing my vision come to life makes it all worth it! I am just embracing and enjoying the process along the way.
We’ve been impressed with Tryncha Fiona, LLC, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Tryncha Fiona is a black female-owned unisex athleisure wear brand. We specialize in quality pieces that are functional and fashionable and can be worn inside and outside of the gym. Because our main focus is to help individuals look and feel their best, I am most proud of the messages I’ve received from other women with similar stories to mine, letting me know that my brand and my daily gym posts have motivated them to get back on their own fitness/wellness journey. Tryncha Fiona is just getting started, and we are taking all the feedback and requests into consideration to keep creating and delivering pieces that everyone will love and feel great in!
Any big plans?
The plan is to continue growing the brand, creating and delivering quality pieces, and becoming a household name in the athleisure wear industry.
