Today we’d like to introduce you to Wendy Galloway.
Wendy, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I’m 28 years old and love documenting life! I live near Galveston, TX with my husband and my two boys.
Simplywendyxo is a lifestyle blog who shares the real motherhood, wife life, teacher life, affordable fashion, cooking and everything in between. Simplywendyxo loves living life and documenting it along the way!
As to how I got started was during my last pregnancy. Something about being pregnant makes me feel powerful, strong, beautiful, confident and capable! I thought why not!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Life is never easy but the hardships is what make our story! Sharing struggles is never easy but it helped me tremendously. I first shared my pregnancy complications. I had a subchorionic hemorrhage which made me bleed up until 15 weeks in pregnancy. I also went into pre-term labor at 29 weeks. Sharing the scariest moments was also a blessing in disguise. I learned so many other mamas who went through the same and we had so many people praying over our sweet baby who ended up waiting until 38 weeks to make his grand entrance!

We’ve been impressed with Simplywendyxo, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I graduated with a BS in education from the University of Houston in 2017. Go coogs! I’m living in my prayer. I always dreamed of being a teacher and here I am. I’ve been teaching 2nd grade for 5 years now. I’ve always dreamed of being a mommy. Here I am enjoying summers off with my two boys. Braxton (2) and Brayden (seven months).
Simplywendyxo shares the real motherhood and everything in between! I love sharing life, outfits, make-up, kid’s outfits through my liketoknow.it app which is a way I earn a small commission when people shop through my links.
I am most proud of creating Simplywendyxo, being a mom of two and my husband for always spoiling us and being my number one fan.
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
In 5-10 years I see myself living life with two crazy kiddos haha or one more. Trusting Gods plan on that one. Enjoying our little family and life! I would love to see Simplywendyxo continue to grow through IG and liketoknow.it
