Life, Values & Legacy: Our Chat with Ludmila Claro

We recently had the chance to connect with Ludmila Claro and have shared our conversation below.

Ludmila, really appreciate you sharing your stories and insights with us. The world would have so much more understanding and empathy if we all were a bit more open about our stories and how they have helped shaped our journey and worldview. Let’s jump in with a fun one: What is a normal day like for you right now?
These days, my routine is filled with purpose.
Between clients, creating, printing, and leading social projects, every task brings me closer to what I believe in:
✨ working with soul and making a difference — one detail at a time.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi, I’m Mila Claro — a creative entrepreneur, storyteller, and purpose-driven marketer based in Texas.

I’m the founder of Mila Claro Print Shop & Marketing, where I help brands turn their vision into tangible, high-quality products — from custom prints to promotional materials that truly reflect who they are. But I don’t just print; I help people express identity, mission, and soul through design.

I’m also the founder and president of the Brazilian Women Foundation, a nonprofit organization that supports immigrants and uplifts the Brazilian community in the U.S. through cultural events, social campaigns, and direct action. Our events, like the Brazilian Food & Music Festival and Brazilian Independence Festival, are more than celebrations — they are bridges between cultures.

What makes my work unique is that I blend creativity with purpose. Whether it’s a printed tote bag or a community-driven festival, everything I create carries intention, identity, and impact.

Right now, I’m working on expanding both my business and nonprofit to reach more people, tell better stories, and leave a positive mark — one project at a time.

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
Before the world told me who I had to be, I was authentic, intense, and wildly creative.
I asked too many questions, felt too much, dreamed too big — and that has always been my greatest strength.

What fear has held you back the most in your life?
The fear of not being understood.
For a long time, I felt like I was “too much” — too intense, too emotional, too driven, too different.
So I tried to fit in, to tone myself down, to play small.
But that only kept me away from my purpose.
Once I embraced who I really am — neurodivergent, passionate, creative and purpose-driven — everything began to flow.

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What do you believe is true but cannot prove?
I believe that everything we live — even the hardest, most painful moments — has meaning.
Maybe not in the moment, maybe not in ways we can measure or explain…
But I believe there’s a silent intelligence guiding us toward who we’re meant to become.
And that some connections, some ideas, and some dreams come from something bigger than logic — they come from soul.

I can’t prove it.
But I feel it in every part of me.

Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. If you retired tomorrow, what would your customers miss most?
If I retired tomorrow, my customers would miss the soul behind everything I create.
They wouldn’t just miss the prints or the events —
They’d miss the care, the intention, the way I turn ideas into experiences and products that actually mean something.

They’d miss how I listen.
How I dream with them.
How I go beyond the brief to deliver something personal, powerful, and full of purpose.

Because with me, it’s never just business — it’s connection.
