Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has always been work to get where I am. But to create TRUE SUCCESS it takes work. To me I never looked at things being a struggle, I always looked at things as of I am going to get to my goals and make it happen. (Turn Lemons into Sweet Lemonade.) My advice to other women is to never give up on their dreams, keep moving forward no matter what. And always keep good positive people around you. I live by this saying: “Show me your friends and I can show you your future…” it is so true.

Please tell us about 1Voice 1Blanket Foundation.
I love leading organizations to the future. I am currently the President/CEO of 1 Voice 1 Blanket which is an organization that I created, where we use art as a way to talk about the justice system in America. It’s a look at the Justice System for Brown and Black people of America.
