Life & Work with Allison Victoria-Wolfe of San Antonio

Today we’d like to introduce you to Allison Victoria-Wolfe.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I am a Professional Actress, Producer and Mother of 4 incredible children. I graduated from Texas A&M with a Degree in Agricultural Communications and Journalism and a duel minor in French and Horticulture. I have been a member of SAG-AFTRA for 15 years and have served for over a decade on the Houston/Austin SAG-AFTRA Local Board. I am also the SAG-AFTRA Representative for the Gulf Coast AFL—CIO and am on the National SAG-AFTRA Young Performers Committee.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Absolutely not!

One of the biggest challenges I’ve had to overcome is learning how to truly advocate for myself. As a recovering people-pleaser, that hasn’t always come easy. But after recently discovering I have ADHD (which suddenly made so many things click, lol), I finally understood that so much of my people-pleasing came from not giving myself permission to speak up.

That realization pushed me to start a new chapter. I began working with an incredible therapist, Juan, and even joined Toastmasters to build my confidence and my voice. It’s been a journey—sometimes uncomfortable, always worth it—and I’m proud of how far I’ve come.

If you’re learning to stand up for yourself too, you’re not alone.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I wear a lot of creative hats in my world—actress, writer, producer—and I absolutely love the magic of storytelling.

But my passion doesn’t stop there. I also host a podcast where my panel of culinary experts and I dive into the latest Food Network shows, laughing, learning, and savoring every moment. Fun fact: I actually won Worst Cooks in America Season 15… proof that growth (and a little chaos) can lead to some pretty amazing places!

One of the things I’m most proud of is starting a culinary cozy mystery book club called “Little Bites.” Every month, we curl up with a new story, share our favorite moments, and exchange recipes inspired by the books. It’s become this warm, creative space where food, fun, and community come together—three of my favorite things.

My journey has been anything but ordinary, and that’s exactly what makes it so special.

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
Honestly, the quality that’s helped me the most is realizing that the word “no” isn’t actually scary. It won’t bite, it won’t ruin your life, and it definitely won’t chase you down the street. If the worst thing that happens is someone tells me “no,” then great—onto the next adventure!

Learning to bounce back from rejection took me years (and maybe a few dramatic snack-filled pity parties), but it’s become one of my secret superpowers. It’s the thing that keeps me moving, keeps me growing, and honestly… probably keeps things entertaining.
