Today we’d like to introduce you to Amy Lee.
Amy, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I have been interested in the paranormal for as far back as I can remember. As a child I had a few strange experiences that made a believer out of me early on. As I got a little older I started to explore and research the paranormal. When I was 18 I moved out of my parents house and into my own apartment. I quickly realized something was wrong and felt that I had a malevolent entity in my apartment. In the 90’s there were no known teams to call on for help. I only lived there for 6 months but during that time my friends and I experienced apparitions, noises, objects being thrown, shelves being cleared, chairs rocking on their own, etc. I continued my amateur investigations for fun here and there up until 2012. At this time I started going to paranormal meetups with my good friend John. Soon after we decided to start a professional paranormal team and Spring Paranormal Investigations LLC., S.P.I. was born.
Initially we were like other teams. We investigated famous places, well known haunts, etc. we began doing private homes and decided we really liked the idea of helping other people. Over time the group grew and changed as teams tend to do. We added to our skills, trained with meditation experts, trained with Priests and Ministers of different faiths, and took as many cases as we could with the intention to help as many as possible. I wanted to make sure that everyone had someone to call. Around 2018 we became a Paranormal Specialty Team. We began to take cases known as Red Flag Cases, aka the worst of the worst. These cases mostly involve Malevolent and/or Demonic type entities. A lot of our cases are referred by other teams, clergy members or churches. It’s a dangerous job but the feeling we get when we see these families we help go from being in danger to thriving and at peace is completely worth it, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
We currently have a team of 6, and I could not have asked for a better group of people to be associated with. I’m honored and humbled by the chance to lead them all. We have excellent mediums, great tech guys and the most devoted group you could possibly ask for. I can’t imagine ever doing anything else. I’m very excited for the future of our company and all the amazing things still to come. One of the things we have been asked about is the opportunity for people to tag along and ghost hunt with us. We have been unable to do that as we work in residential homes… But this summer coming up everyone will have that chance! We will be starting Spring Paranormal Investigations Ghost Tours of Old Montgomery Texas. This short tour of the little old town will be ending in a guided ghost hunting session with members of our team. Then in fall we will starting up our You Tube channel. So much to look forward to right now, and we are very excited to share it with all our fans and supporters.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
We have definitely had our share of struggles. Everything from the dangers that come along with these cases to regular business hardships, personal struggles, illness, etc. but we look at it all as being part of package. We support each other and we stick together no matter what. We call ourselves a para-family and we truly treat it that way. Our team helps each other through highs and lows no matter what.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
By day I work for a construction company, but nights and weekends are all about my company… Spring Paranormal Investigations LLC., S.P.I. I’m extremely proud of this team which functions like a well oiled machine while dealing with the most violent and frightening cases in the United States. We are known for handling a case from beginning to end with the best possible results being provided and going the distance no matter what.
Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
We don’t collaborate much with outside sources. There are a few other Paranormal Experts in the field that I consult with and a few Priests and religious experts we consult with, but other than that we generally keep everything in house. We definitely have a tried and true system and a proven method for working these difficult cases and we don’t want to tamper with that. However, promotional opportunities on tv, radio, etc. especially around Halloween time, are often a good opportunity for us to educate people about what we do and help them promote their Halloween episodes. But rest assured, ghosts are around all year long!

- We don’t charge for our residential paranormal services, we only charge to cover the travel expenses.
