Hi Anisa, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Throughout the years of my life, I’ve stopped to capture the beauty that lives within this Earth. The older I became, the more I realized I loved photography. I loved taking photos, I loved having photos to look back on and to share! It took until March 2021 for me to create a social media page to share the beauty of the world that is often missed with others! I knew I made a great decision and never looked back. When it came to family or work events, I was the individual who automatically took the photos. My memories proved Photography was already within me, it was a talent I’ve always had & a hobby that would forever bring me joy!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I personally engage in Photography as a hobby, however, when I decided to begin accepting clients, I knew the market would be competitive. I take ALL of my photos with my Samsung Galaxy S21 cellphone. It always shocks people when they see my pictures aren’t taken with a “professional camera” because it looks like it! I knew I wanted to keep taking photos on my phone because it made me unique & I love being different! The Challenges that existed were within myself – feeling as if I wasn’t good enough because I didn’t have a professional tool to take photos. I quickly released this mindset and challenged when I did my first photoshoot for a close friend’s Birthday!

Along with my Photography, I also am a Spiritual Lightworker! I provide individuals with spiritual insights, counseling and guidance, Dream Interpretations, Angel Number Insights & Astrology Readings, and other spiritual services! I merged my Photography with my spiritual practice known as – Your Soul Awaits. I feel that this truly sets me apart from others, being known as “Thee Spiritual Photographer”. I am most known for taking amazing shots of the Moon, helping others shift their perspective & see the truth of our reality through Photography, Spirituality, Astrology, & Motivational Speaking.
