Hi Busayo, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started doing hair when I was in high school. Funny enough I started doing hair for myself until one of my classmates saw the styles I would create and asked if I would do hers and it all started from there. Since then, I’ve been doing hair and building clientele. I try to focus primarily on promoting hair growth and hair care. I’ve even become affiliated with natural hair companies that focus on these aspects. Bussiestyles is all about becoming a one stop shop from custom-colored braiding hair to bundles of all lengths and textures to hair care products. My goal for my business is to create ease for my clients which is why I offer traveling services for styles because if it was something they could do themselves, they would.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Like with any business there have been ups and downs, we’re still growing and learning from the mistakes that have been made in the past, but with every stumble, it’s a learning experience.
