Life & Work with Clemmie St. Amand of North Houston

Today we’d like to introduce you to Clemmie St. Amand.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?

I got started after Covid 19. I wanted to do something fresh and new for the community to come back out and enjoy life in a collaborative effort. People were dying and many were still afraid to come out and socialize. I knew that life was too short and that Covid taught us that we can be here today and gone tomorrow. We needed something to celebrate the fact that we still had life, and we deserved to live and celebrate ourselves and our goals and endeavors. We needed to commit to ourselves and vow to ourselves that we will continue to pursue our craft and dreams. This was the begging of “The Birthday Cake Wedding Foundation”

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not been a smooth road because like any business you have some bumps in the road on the implementation of events or having the right team placed in the right position to carry out the mission

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I AM THE CEO of THE BIRTHDAY CAKE WEDDING FOUNDATION. I SPECIALIZE IN ELEGANT TOP NOTCH EVENTS. I AM ALSO AN ADVOCATE FOR THOSE LIVING ON THE AUTISM SPECTRUM

Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
MY ADVICE IS TO JOIN SOCIAL NETWORKING GROUPS FOR AUTISM. IF YOUR INTERESTED IN PRODUCING MOVIES JOIN TUBI OR NETFLIX GROUPS AND IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ELEGANT EVENTS FOLLOW THOSE ON EVENTBRITE AND SOCIAL MIXER GROUPS
