Life & Work with Cooper Mohrmann of Post Oak/ Heights

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cooper Mohrmann.

Hi Cooper, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Born and raised in Houston, I graduated from baylor university and was accepted to The University of Texas School of Dentistry. At the same time, I just released my first country music single on Spotify. Over the past 4 years, both careers have blossomed and I am now working full time in a private practice at Post Oak and 610 as well as touring with my band on the weekends.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not a smooth road, gigs every weekend, paying for school, studying late at night and attending school five days a week, graduating on time while creating content, promo materials for gigs, managing my own social media, it has been a struggle but God has continually provided.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I sing country music, I write all of my own music and play around 100 shows a year with my band across Texas and The South

Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
Some call it luck, I call it God. and He has been in the middle of it all
