Today we’d like to introduce you to Daja Gay
Hi Daja, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I am a dedicated yoga instructor with a deep-rooted passion for holistic wellness, healing, networking and philanthropy! I blend my expertise in yoga with my B.S. in Psychology and my awareness of Reiki to create transformative experiences on the mat and out in the community thus creating my brand ENHERPWR!
I have over the years curated event spaces in collaboration with others in Houston, Miami and NYC bringing awareness to causes such as homelessness by distributing hygiene kits and volunteerism, women’s empowerment events such as clothing swaps that donate the overflow of items to local women’s shelters and involving youth empowerment/ mentorship through yoga.
My understanding of the mind-body connection, guides the approach to healing as a path to physical, mental and emotional balance and overall wellbeing!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Just as life itself has obstacles so has my journey with building this initiative in the community. ENHERPWR has undergone various relaunches and many different collaborative events (some that were a great success and others that were lessons on how to improve.)
Overall gratitude is the word that comes to mind because after every storm the sun shines and the rainbow comes and every experience weathered is preparation on how to tackle the next storm (or obstacles) to come!
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am multifaceted with my first job and priority always being a mother to my amazing son Zayd that is two years old. Aside from being a stay at home my I also am a social media content creator/ brand ambassador, I occasionally do commercial modeling and I am a yoga instructor that helps others through healing based movement classes.
I am known for being a model but through the years I’ve proved just the wide range of talents that I have through being featured in magazines, music videos and through building my brand ENHERPWR.
I am most proud of know there are no limits in life and that my ability to create my own lane in all of my endeavors (and combining them so effortlessly) sets me apart from everyone.

I am excited for the near future goal of having a physical facility for all of the community events and classes I provide monthly!
