Life & Work with Danni Garcia of Spring

Today we’d like to introduce you to Danni Garcia.

Hi Danni, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I’m the proud wife of a supportive disabled veteran, a mother to four amazing adult children, and a grandmother to three beautiful grandchildren. For many years, my life was joyfully centered around my family, and during that time, I put my dream of owning a business on the back burner.

Now that my children have started lives of their own, I knew it was finally time to pursue my passion. I launched Dip Sisters in January of this year, inspired by a lifelong dream of using my creativity to bring joy to others through beautifully crafted dipped treats.

Like many entrepreneurs, I struggled with self-doubt and hesitated to take the leap. But with the unwavering encouragement of my husband and family, I found the confidence to move forward, and I’m so glad I did.

In April, my husband and I began participating in local farmers markets, and it’s been such a rewarding experience. Not only has it allowed us to bring our treats directly to the public, but it’s also given us a chance to connect with our community in a meaningful way.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road, starting something new always comes with its challenges. In the beginning, I battled the fear of failure. I wasn’t sure if people would love what I had to offer or if I could juggle all the responsibilities that come with running a business, especially since I still work a full-time job.

There have also been some learning curves, such as marketing and managing inventory for the farmers markets. But each challenge has taught me something valuable and made the wins even more rewarding. Having a strong support system, seeing the smiles on people’s faces when they visit our booth, and watching them return to the market just for our treats makes it all worth it.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
At Dip Sister, I specialize in creating beautifully customized dipped treats for life’s most special moments. From birthdays and baby showers to weddings and corporate events, I turn simple sweets into edible art. I handcraft each treat with care. From delicious cake shooters to chocolate-covered strawberries, pretzels, Oreos, Rice Krispie Treats, and more. All perfectly themed and decorated to match your special occasion. I use edible images to truly capture the theme of each event, whether it’s your company logo, school mascot, or a custom design that brings your celebration to life. Whether it’s elegant and romantic or fun and playful, I bring creativity, and sweetness to every event. Making dipped treats isn’t just my new business, it has quickly become my passion. There’s nothing more fulfilling than seeing someone light up when they see (and taste) something I created just for them.

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
I was a very independent and creative child with a vivid imagination that naturally fueled my creativity. I was also very charismatic, always the class clown. It brought me so much joy to make people laugh, and I guess that hasn’t changed!

I excelled in art class and loved spending time in the kitchen cooking with my mother. Over the years, my passion for creating has taken many forms, from baking and cake decorating to art, interior design, and now, treat making. No matter the medium, I’ve always found joy in bringing ideas to life and making things that make people smile.

Above it all, owning my own business and being able to create custom treats for people’s most special occasions is definitely one of the most personally fulfilling things I’ve ever done, second only to being a mother and grandmother. It’s a blessing to do what I love while creating memorable treats life’s sweetest moments.
