Hi Emmanuel , we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I have always had a love for music since a kid. I started my journey in the music business at Bad Boy Records & Daddy’s house recording studio under the mentorship of P Diddy. I also was mentored by legendary songwriter Jack Knight and the late great Static Major. Throughout my journey in this music business I have worked with many greats. From artists, producers, creatives, and execs behind the scenes in many genres of music. Hip Hop, R&B, Pop, Jazz, Electronic just to name a few. God has truly blessed me to be able to do what I love and help others achieve there dreams as well. Fast forward to today I own my own company “Rather Unique Music Group.” We give independent Artists and creatives an opportunity to grow and nurture there talent and become successful in there own greatness.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not been a smooth road. Like anything you want to accomplish in life that requires you to become great there will be obstacles. Mountains you have to climb, ups and downs, struggles, all thee above. At one point I was homeless trying to make it in this music business. I’ve even slept on many family, friends couches to survive. I’ve had success and had it taken from me and gained it back. It’s like a roller coaster effect. All through these struggles I’ve always kept a smile on my face and held it together, but deep inside it was eating me alive. All I wanted to do was win, but I knew this was a part of my journey to being great. God called me to lead others and when you are called to do great things it comes with a price. You must keep going no matter what. We all have to go through defeat to come out as winner. The question is, will you keep fighting, will you continue to trust in Gods plan for your life or will you give up or stay relentless. It’s your choice. Always know in your heart that one day you will live freely and successfully in your purpose.

I am the Ceo of an Independent Record Company & Artist Management Company “Rather Unique Music Group”. We specialize in blossoming artists careers to there highest potential. At RUMG we set ourselves apart from others by leadership. Giving Artist fair share to there music and rights. Paving a way for the next independent superstar. Leadership is not about titles and positions. It is about one life influencing another and that’s what we are about at Rather Unique Music Group.

Time!! That’s something we never ever get back. Money comes and go. You can make money, loose it and get it right back, but time you can not replace. So in any business you are in or in life period, always respect others time, be on time and respect your time as well. That’s a major component to your success.
