Hi Eric, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
In 2017, we were looking for a business opportunity that could be run by our family locally and independently of well-known franchises. After a personal experience of having to wait for long hours for my car to be washed, sitting in a shop wasting valuable time, we decided to take the detailing and car washing service directly to people’s homes or workplaces, with a simple online booking system. We developed this service by choosing the best technology in equipment and products to meet technical and environmental demands. This is how Bubbly was born, which today has more than 3,000 registered customers.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Nothing is easy, especially in the beginning, where learning and choosing equipment and product updates are constant, in addition to the processes involved.
There is a strong demand due to the large number of vehicles. Today, we identify the biggest challenge as operational growth.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I have worked in the telecommunications industry for over 25 years, primarlty in the oil and gas market, providing satellite communication solutions for vessels and oil and gas rigs.
Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
I believe the biggest lesson is to seek solutions that bring added value to customers, making their lives easier by saving time and resources. Our customers can have their car cleaned and washed while working in their office or taking care of their kids at home.
This generates a lot of value for our business.
