Today we’re excited to be connecting with Erin Hightower again. If you haven’t already, we suggest you check out our prior conversation with them here.
Erin, we are so thrilled to be connecting again and can’t wait to hear about all the amazing things you have been up to. Before we jump into all of that, some of our readers might have missed our prior interview, so can you take a moment to reintroduce yourself?
Hello my name is Erin Hightower I am the founder and creator of TWP Private Tutoring. I am a fun , energetic , and engaging teacher who has been nourishing and impacting children for over 10 years. Five years ago I took a big leap of faith and became an entrepreneur! I decided to create a service where the foundation was geared towards my passion in cultivating students to reach their full potential socially and academically.
Great, so let’s jump into an update on what you have been up to since we last spoke. What can you share with us?
Over the past two years, I’ve taken a dynamic and rewarding journey in entrepreneurship, but after some reflection, I decided to return to the classroom. Transitioning back to teaching, specifically as a Pre-K teacher, was a decision I was initially hesitant about, but it turned out to be one of the best choices I’ve made in recent years. One year into this role, I’ve not only grown personally but also professionally. My experiences with classroom engagement have deepened, and I had the incredible opportunity to lead my first speaking engagement, where I shared my insights with fellow teachers. This past year has been filled with challenges and triumphs, but it’s confirmed that my passion for teaching and inspiring others is stronger than ever.
Alright, so let’s do something a bit more fast-paced and lighthearted. We call this our lightning round and we’ll ask you a few quick questions.
