Hi Favour Abel, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Growing up in church playing the piano and the drums to singing obnoxiously loud in my high school classes, I’ve always known that music was my calling, although I didn’t start taking music seriously until about 2017. Since then, every single work I’ve created continued to surpass the previous ones I created
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t necessarily been a smooth road, there have been lots of trial and error. In an industry like this (being an artist) you must learn how to fail quickly, patch your mistakes, and implement the solutions you know will bring you guaranteed results.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m an artist at my core. From hyped-out shows to intense beat productions to creative and juxtaposed lyrics, there’s no limit to what I can do. In this industry, I wear many hats (no pun intended). From being an independent artist/singer, songwriter, businessman, producer, and also a fashion model. What I am most proud of currently is my EP sequel “Manifest Destiny”. It ties into the American tale of conquering your dreams and bringing them to reality. Pretty much, if you set your mind to something, you can achieve it.
How do you define success?
Success is not linear. If you tried something more than once and received better results than the first time, then it’s success. The sky is just the beginning.
