Hi Haneen, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I’ve always believed my love for fashion was inherited. Some of my earliest memories are of watching my mum effortlessly style her favorite Gucci sunglasses with the coolest 90s outfits. There was something so timeless about the way she dressed. It wasn’t just fashion, it was confidence, creativity, and self-expression. Looking back, that’s where it all began for me.
As I grew older, fashion became much more than an interest. It became my creative language and the way I expressed who I was. Whether I was styling outfits, discovering emerging brands, or finding luxury pieces at incredible prices, I knew I wanted to share that passion with others.
In 2024, I launched CuratedByHaneen as a creative outlet and passion project, with the goal of inspiring women through elevated style while helping them discover the best fashion finds and designer deals. What started as a side hobby quickly evolved into something far greater.
Today, in 2026, CuratedByHaneen has become an integral part of my everyday life. As a fashion influencer, visual creative, and aspiring designer, I’ve had the privilege of connecting with inspiring people across the industry and collaborating with renowned brands including Mytheresa, Clarins, and many more. Every partnership, campaign, and conversation has reinforced why I started this journey in the first place.
For me, fashion has never been about following trends. It’s about storytelling, confidence, and creating a personal style that feels authentic. And this is only the beginning.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I’d be lying if I said the journey was effortless. In the beginning, I often felt unsure of my direction and what kind of creator I wanted to become. While authenticity was always at the heart of my vision, it was easy to get caught up in the pressure of chasing trends and trying to replicate what seemed to be working for everyone else.
Over time, I realized that the content that resonated most wasn’t the content that followed the crowd, but the content that genuinely reflected my own perspective and style. Through consistency, countless hours of creating, and plenty of trial and error, I gradually found my creative rhythm.
Today, I feel more confident than ever in my voice and aesthetic. Every piece of content I share is intentionally curated to reflect my passion for fashion, creativity, and timeless style. Finding that sense of flow didn’t happen overnight, but it’s been one of the most rewarding parts of my journey.

As a fashion influencer, visual creative, and aspiring designer, my work is rooted in the intersection of fashion, beauty, and women’s contemporary style. I create content that celebrates personal expression while inspiring women to embrace fashion with confidence, creativity, and individuality.
My aesthetic is best described as refined with a maximalist edge. I’m drawn to bold color palettes, unexpected pattern pairings, and elevated styling that feels both timeless and expressive. Whether I’m curating luxury fashion finds, showcasing everyday styling inspiration, or collaborating with leading fashion and beauty brands, my goal is always to tell a story through style.
Above all, I’m most proud of the community I’ve built through CuratedByHaneen. What began as a passion project has grown into a platform that has connected me with incredible creatives, industry professionals, and global brands. Seeing my content inspire others while opening doors to meaningful opportunities has been the most rewarding part of the journey, and I’m excited to continue growing as both a creator and an aspiring designer.
What do you like and dislike about the city?
Houston has been such an exciting city to call home. It’s constantly evolving, with new restaurants, boutiques, creative spaces, and local brands popping up all the time. There’s a real sense of momentum here, and I love seeing how the city’s fashion, food, and creative scenes continue to grow. It’s inspiring to be surrounded by so many entrepreneurs and creatives who are building something unique.
That said, there’s one thing I’m still trying to make peace with… the humidity. It’s no secret that Houston summers are intense, and there are definitely days when stepping outside feels like walking into a sauna. After spending five years living in Sydney, Australia, where the coastal weather was far more forgiving, the adjustment has been a challenge. I definitely miss those breezy beach days and mild temperatures.
Still, every city has its own charm. While I’m learning to embrace Houston’s heat one day at a time, I’ve fallen in love with its energy, diversity, and endless opportunities. It’s a city that encourages creativity, celebrates ambition, and constantly surprises me with what’s around the corner. For someone building a career in fashion and content creation, it’s an exciting place to be.
