Life & Work with Holly And Chance Montgomery of Houston

Today we’d like to introduce you to Holly And Chance Montgomery.

Hi Holly and Chance, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
We’ve lived in the Houston area for about 25 years, and fitness has always been an important part of our lives in one form or another. When we made the decision to open a JETSET Pilates studio, we explored several areas, but Bridgeland immediately stood out. The moment we drove up to the potential location, we felt a genuine connection to the community and knew it was where we wanted to plant roots.

The support from Bridgeland and the greater Cypress area has been incredible, and we’re deeply committed to giving back and supporting the community that welcomed us so warmly. Our long‑term vision is to remain community‑driven, creating a space that offers not only an exceptional workout, but also a place where people can connect, build relationships, and feel part of something meaningful. We’re grateful to be here and excited to continue growing alongside this vibrant community

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Overall, it’s been a smooth road, with a few bumps here and there. Nothing unexpected for launching a new business. It’s certainly been a lot of work, but it’s been incredibly rewarding. We’re grateful for the support we’ve received from the Bridgeland and Cypress communities, which has made a tremendous difference. And we’re equally grateful for our team, our GM, studio leads, and instructors, who have poured their energy, talent, and heart into building something special. Their commitment has helped turn challenges into progress and has been a major part of why this journey has felt so meaningful.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’ve spent most of my career in sales management, primarily serving the Houston and Texas markets. Leading teams for many years has shaped my entire approach to business. I’ve learned that people ultimately drive success: hiring well, developing talent, and treating your team with respect and trust. That philosophy has translated directly into how we operate the studio. The culture we build behind the scenes is just as important as the experience our members feel on the front end.

Holly brings a complementary skill set from her years as a preschool director. Running a program like that requires exceptional organization, consistency, and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of personalities. She understands how to create structure, maintain high standards, and build an environment where people feel supported and valued.

Together, our backgrounds allow us to run JETSET Pilates with a strong people‑first mindset. We’re most proud of the team we’ve built, our GM, studio leads, and instructors, because they’re the heartbeat of the studio. Their professionalism, energy, and care for our members set the tone every day.

What truly sets us apart is our commitment to creating more than a workout. We specialize in delivering a premium, highly effective Pilates experience. Still, our deeper goal is to build a community hub—a place where people connect, feel known, and feel part of something bigger. That combination of strong leadership, operational discipline, and genuine community focus is what defines our work.

How do you think about happiness?
We get a lot of gratification from seeing others happy and being part of their journey. Whether it’s watching someone gain confidence, feel stronger, or simply find a moment of joy in their day, being able to contribute to that experience is incredibly fulfilling. Creating a space where people feel supported, encouraged, and connected is what makes me happiest.
