Hi Justin, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started JdoubleA Trailer Rentals in July 2024 with just one trailer of my own and another I had through a lease agreement with a friend. What began as a small, two-trailer operation quickly gained momentum thanks to hard work, word-of-mouth, and the incredible support of my customers, friends, and family. Today, our fleet has grown to six trailers, including a JAA01 24’x102″ equipment/car/truck hauler, JAA02 12’x77″ utility trailer, JAA03 14′ stock trailer, JAA04 16’x7′ enclosed trailer, JAA05 10/14 bale hay trailer, and a 40’x102″ gooseneck flat deck. I’m truly grateful for everyone who’s helped along the way—this growth wouldn’t have been possible without you.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It is never all sunshine and rainbows starting and growing a business from the ground up. There is plenty of obstacles you have to navigate through, whether it be legality hurdles, learning how to handle the books, or learning how to handle different situations with customers. Overall, it has been very rewarding watching the business grow like it has in such a short amount of time!
