Today we’d like to introduce you to Kameron Sampson.
Hi Kameron, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started taking up digital graphics when I was a kid. I always thought it was something cool and different but at the time as a kid, a lot of different ideas run through your mind. So over time, as I was involved with school and sports my love for that was pushed to the side to gain focus on my main thing. It took a while to understand my passion of content creation but over time, it became a thina I relearned and understood my purpose for what I love to do from the beginning. I got here by constantly trying hard and networking to make sure people know who Kameron Sampson is.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, this road gets hard because I was not always booked on a week-to-week basis and my rates were not always being honored. I lost a lot of friends and relationships over time because people do not understand how hard it is to run a small business or be a small business owner. The struggle of being consistent can become hard because having a lot going on can take your time to create and learn so you have to always mediate and find a balance.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
Houston Based Content Creator. I do my Photography/Videography by myself. My content is posted week to week so my fan base can see how much I improve on my work as I grow bigger and bigger. I am proud of what I have accomplished but I know there is a lot more work needed to be done. The thing that sets me apart from others is the genuine relationship that I care about after the session is done. I want you to feel comfortable enough to come back and content create again.
Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
Taking risks is simply not believing in yourself and on top of not believing in yourself then you will sell yourself short. Believe in yourself before anybody else believes in you because you are your biggest support system. You know what you need to improve on and continue to strive for what’s best for you and the brand.
