Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Creativity has always been a part of who I am. Long before I ever picked up a camera, I was painting and drawing. Growing up, my artwork was displayed in art shows, and I quickly realized how much I loved creating something that could make people stop, feel, and connect.
Everything changed in high school when my dad gave me my first camera. I didn’t realize it at the time, but he wasn’t just giving me a piece of equipment. He was giving me a new canvas. I became fascinated with the ability to tell stories through photographs and film, and I’ve been chasing that craft ever since.
That passion eventually led me to study film and video production and launch VZNARY Media & Production. Today, I have the privilege of documenting weddings, creating commercial campaigns, and working with businesses, nonprofits, athletes, and families while helping people preserve moments that matter.
Building a business from the ground up has required faith, persistence, and a willingness to keep learning through every challenge. My faith has shaped the way I approach my work by reminding me that every person has a story worth telling and that success is measured by more than recognition. It’s about serving people with excellence, treating others with kindness, and leaving them with something meaningful.
Looking back, I realize I never stopped being an artist. I simply traded paintbrushes for cameras. I’m still creating, still telling stories, and still chasing the same goal I had as a kid: to create something that leaves a lasting impact.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. One of the biggest challenges has been building consistency. Like many entrepreneurs and creatives, there were seasons where work wasn’t steady, and I questioned whether I should keep going. There were moments when I honestly considered walking away from it all.
What kept me going was the unwavering support of my loving wife, my family, my faith, and my trust in God. They believed in me during the moments when I doubted myself and continually reminded me why I started. Their encouragement gave me the strength to keep moving forward, even when the path wasn’t clear.
Every challenge taught me something. I learned that success isn’t built overnight. It’s built through perseverance, showing up when it’s hard, continuing to improve your craft, and believing that the work you’re doing has purpose. Looking back, I’m grateful I didn’t quit because those difficult seasons shaped not only my business, but also my character. Today, I’m thankful to pursue my passion full time, and I hope my journey encourages others to keep believing in their own dreams, even when the road gets difficult.

I specialize in visual storytelling through photography and filmmaking. Whether I’m documenting a wedding, creating commercial content for a business, producing marketing campaigns, or covering live events, my goal is always the same: to create work that tells an authentic story and leaves a lasting impression.
Throughout my career, I’ve been blessed with opportunities to work with organizations and brands such as the Houston Astros, Houston Dynamo, the UFL, ESPN, Bosch, and a wide variety of businesses, entrepreneurs, and nonprofits. Every project has challenged me to grow creatively and has reinforced that great storytelling isn’t reserved for big brands. Every person and every business has a story worth sharing.
What I’m most proud of isn’t any one client or accomplishment. It’s earning the trust of the people I work with. Whether it’s a couple trusting me with one of the biggest days of their lives or a company trusting me to represent their brand, I never take that responsibility lightly.
I believe what sets me apart is that I don’t just focus on creating beautiful images. I focus on creating meaningful ones. My background in art taught me to pay attention to composition, emotion, and detail, while filmmaking taught me how to bring those elements together into a story. Every project starts with understanding the people behind the camera because the best content comes from genuine connection.
At the end of the day, I don’t want my work to simply look cinematic. I want people to feel something when they see it. If someone can look back years later and relive a moment, remember a feeling, or see their story in a new way, then I’ve done my job well.
What matters most to you?
What matters most to me is creating work that I’m proud of. I genuinely love what I do, and I believe that passion shows in every project I take on. Whether I’m photographing a wedding, filming a commercial, or creating content for a business, I want every detail to be intentional. I believe the smallest details often make the biggest difference, and I strive to create work that people can look back on for years and still feel something.
I also care deeply about the people I work with. Building relationships and understanding each client’s story is just as important to me as the final product. When people trust me with their memories, their brand, or a milestone in their lives, I don’t take that responsibility lightly.
Outside of my work, my faith, my loving wife, and my family keep me grounded. They remind me that while I want to pursue excellence in everything I create, the greatest success comes from serving others with humility, integrity, and care.
At the end of the day, I want my work to reflect who I am. I want people to see not only beautiful images, but the passion, attention to detail, and genuine care that went into creating them. That’s what continues to inspire me every time I pick up a camera.
