Life & Work with Kenya Dozier of Texas City

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kenya Dozier.

Hi Kenya, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started Silent Assassin Moms because I saw a need that wasn’t being talked about—moms like me, quietly carrying the weight of their families, their children’s dreams, and their faith, all while the world often overlooks the struggle.

Being a mom isn’t just about the big, loud victories. It’s about the early mornings, the late nights, the prayers whispered in the car, the tears we wipe away so our children don’t see them, and the faith we hold onto when life gets hard. I wanted to create a space that honors those quiet battles—the ones we fight behind closed doors and on our knees.

Silent Assassin Moms isn’t about noise; it’s about impact. It’s about praying in silence, believing without wavering, and showing up even when it’s hard. It’s for the moms who keep going when no one is watching, who know that strength isn’t always loud, and that faith isn’t always seen.

This community exists because I know what it feels like to be exhausted, to feel unseen, to question if it’s all worth it. And I also know the power that comes when a mom chooses to keep trusting God, keep loving, and keep fighting.

Silent Assassin Moms is for the tired, the faithful, the warriors who don’t quit—because better days are coming, and we’re walking into them together.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, it definitely hasn’t been smooth. If I’m being honest, the road has been full of challenges—some expected, some that hit me out of nowhere. Balancing family, faith, and this mission has taken a lot of late nights and early mornings. There were moments when I questioned myself: Am I doing enough? Is anyone even listening?

Some of the biggest struggles were learning to trust the process and stay consistent, even when growth feels slow. There were times when I felt unseen or exhausted, moments when the weight of being a mom and a leader all at once threatened to overwhelm me. But in those moments, prayer, faith, and remembering why I started kept me going.

Every struggle became a lesson. Every challenge became a reminder that silent effort has power, and faith—even in the quietest moments—can move mountains. And that’s exactly what Silent Assassin Moms is about: showing up, even when it’s hard, and trusting God with the outcome.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I wear a few hats, and I love that each one allows me to serve in a different way. By day, I’m a school secretary, keeping things organized, helping students and families, and making sure the heart of the school runs smoothly. By night and on weekends, I’m a youth minister at my church, guiding the next generation, teaching them about faith, resilience, and purpose, and watching them grow into strong, grounded young people.

I started Silent Assassin Moms to serve moms in a similar way—helping them stay grounded, stay faithful, and keep going, even when life feels overwhelming. I specialize in encouraging moms to pray, trust God, and fight quietly but powerfully for their families, which is what sets us apart. We’re not loud—we’re effective. We’re silent, but our impact is felt.

I think what truly sets me apart is that I live in the trenches with these moms—I’m raising kids, juggling work, serving my church, and navigating life just like they are. I’m not just leading from a distance; I’m walking the path with them, praying with them, and celebrating the small wins and big victories along the way.

What matters most to you?
What matters most to me is my family and my faith. My husband and my children—whether they’re athletes or not—are my heart. They are my motivation, my joy, and my reason for pushing through every challenge. I want to create a home and a life where they feel loved, supported, and encouraged to pursue their dreams while staying grounded in God.

I also care deeply about lifting up other moms. I know how exhausting it can be to hold everything together while trying to remain faithful, strong, and patient. That’s why Silent Assassin Moms exists—to remind moms that even in the quiet moments, they are making a powerful impact on their families and their communities.

Faith, family, and the well-being of the moms around me matter most because they are the foundation for everything else. When my family thrives and when moms are encouraged and empowered, the ripple effect changes everything—home, church, school, and community.
