Life & Work with Luna Nicole Williams of NRG Area

Today we’d like to introduce you to Luna Nicole Williams

Hi Luna Nicole, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I got started on my spiritual and holistic journey my sophomore year of high school. I grew curious as to why prescription medicine needed refills. Was this actually benefiting our bodies or creating dependency while funneling money back into the government system? I was the little girl who grandma always called to say “give me some numbers” or “grab this candle and crystal for me”, but i never knew why. With curiosity grew passion, and that passion fueled the birth of the Luna Lotus brand. I began reading into Dr. Sebi’s teachings, taking certification courses for herbalism, researching our family spiritual lineage, and studying botany. Once completed and i was confident in sharing my knowledge i opened my apothecary, spiritual services, and sound bowl meditation community during the pandemic. I started off supplying my herbal remedies and doing spiritual services for family and close friends, then word-of-mouth spread rather quickly. My friends have skin conditions ranging to respiratory conditions, so I was giving them this to help but also to get reviews back. When I got the reviews back, people were saying how it worked better than the prescribed ointment they were given. One said they’ve never seen a virus Go away in two days because of their auto immune deficiency. I then decided to commit myself to heal communities and make it accessible to everyone by making products affordable and all spiritual services donation based. I have been operating for 6 years and man made medicine free 14 years. I’m here today because of my supportive family and community.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road has been tedious but so rewarding. I’ve encountered many people who are grateful for my services, but others question it. A doctor asked my friend how did she get rid of her cyst and she told him my friends teas, he laughed and said it wasn’t real medicine. Scrutiny has been the biggest obstacle, but that same friend has now been off man made medicine for 7 years. I tend to view obstacles as divine redirection so outside of the talk that comes with the territory, i can be my biggest obstacle. When i overthink i have to remember my passion to heal is greater than naysayers and nonbelievers.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
My work includes doing custom journal prompts for individual self reflection. I also host sound bowl meditation sessions for relaxation. I currently have two e-books out one on herbalism and one on basic perfume layering. On the other end of the spectrum i also do business plans & numbers for those looking to elevate and map out the business they desire.

Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
My advice to others is be yourself. As cliche as it sounds, genuine people respond well to rawness and authenticity. You are not defined by the high moments because it’s the low ones that teach you something. It’s okay to start over and change your network. You are your biggest brand and the face of it so associate with things that align. Your first mind is your greatest intuition, you should always follow it. Have fun and follow your passion even if it’s not the “norm”, you create your own life which will become your normal, just for you and that’s something special no one can take away. Find your why and don’t base it solely off off profit, aim to impact and improve. Most importantly, take up space. You deserve to be there just as much as the next person. Be loud and proud of you and what you represent.
