Hi Mia, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I began my journey in the beauty industry working at a spa, where I specialized in waxing and facials. Over time, I realized that I wanted the freedom to work for myself allowing me to take my time with clients and provide a truly personalized, professional touch. Working for others taught me invaluable lessons both what to do and what not to do when running a business.
With no existing clientele, I took a leap of faith and started my own business. I committed to showing up every day, whether I had one client or two, trusting that consistency and hard work would pay off. I also leveraged free marketing strategies to attract clients, and before long, those first few appointments turned into lasting relationships. I’m grateful for the bonds I’ve built and the diverse clientele I have the privilege of serving.
Beyond providing exceptional waxing and skincare services, what I love most is educating my clients on skincare and being a listening ear when they need it. In turn, they provide me with meaningful conversations and connections, making this journey even more rewarding.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
My journey has been far from smooth. As I mentioned, I started with zero clientele, and there were many things I wish I had known before launching my business. Along the way, I invested in a business coach, leveraged online resources, and immersed myself in books to better understand the ins and outs of entrepreneurship.
There have been moments of doubt times when I felt like giving up because there was still so much to learn. But every day brings new experiences and opportunities for growth. My advice to anyone just starting out is to stay the course. If this is truly your passion and calling, persistence and dedication will pay off in the end.

What I love most about my work is the opportunity to connect with people from all walks of life. I specialize in hair removal and skincare services, with a focus on helping clients achieve healthy, radiant skin.
I believe I’m known for creating a welcoming and comfortable environment my personality helps clients feel at ease from the moment they walk through the door. One of the things I’m most proud of is my dedication; even on my toughest days, I show up fully present, knowing that once I’m in my element, everything falls into place.
Beyond providing treatments, I’m passionate about educating my clients on skincare, product ingredients, and post-care routines. My goal is to empower them with knowledge so they can maintain and improve their skin health long after their visit. What truly sets me apart is my commitment to personalized care, attention to detail, and the genuine connections I build with my clients.
How do you think about happiness?
Happiness for me isn’t just one big thing it’s a collection of little moments that make life fulfilling. It’s the laughter shared with clients, the genuine conversations that turn appointments into friendships, and the joy of seeing someone walk out feeling more confident than when they walked in. It’s knowing that I’m constantly growing, both personally and professionally, learning new techniques, and finding ways to provide an even better experience for my clients. Seeing my clients happy, comfortable, and glowing both inside and out now that’s what truly makes me happy!
