Today we’d like to introduce you to Miriam Sandoval.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My journey has been one of resilience, faith, and reinvention. Like many people, I’ve faced challenges that tested my strength, but I chose to see every obstacle as an opportunity to grow. I’ve always had a passion for creating meaningful experiences and connecting with others.
As a bilingual wedding officiant began with a genuine passion for celebrating love and bringing people together. I realized that every couple has a unique story, and I wanted to help create a ceremony that reflected their personalities, values, and commitment to one another. What started as a desire to make weddings more personal quickly became a meaningful career centered on one of life’s most important milestones.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of officiating weddings for couples from many different backgrounds, each ceremony reminding me why I love what I do.
My goal is to make every couple feel seen, heard, and celebrated, creating a heartfelt experience they’ll remember for the rest of their lives. Being a wedding officiant is more than conducting a ceremony—it’s about honoring love, building lasting connections, and creating unforgettable memories.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Like many businesses owners, I’ve faced challenges while building my business—from finding clients and earning trust to balancing the responsibilities of running a business while managing everyday life.
There were moments of self-doubt and uncertainty, but each experience taught me something valuable and made me stronger.
As a wedding officiant, I understand that every ceremony is one of the most important days in a couple’s life. That responsibility has pushed me to continually grow, improve, and give my very best. Every challenge has helped shape the professional I am today. Looking back, I wouldn’t change the journey because it taught me resilience, strengthened my faith, and reminded me that success comes from perseverance, passion, and staying true to your purpose.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
As a bilingual wedding officiant, I specialize in creating personalized, meaningful ceremonies that reflect each couple’s unique love story. I take the time to get to know my couples so every ceremony feels authentic, heartfelt, and memorable. Whether it’s an intimate elopement or a large wedding celebration, my goal is to create an experience that is both beautiful and deeply personal.
What I’m most proud of is the trust my couples place in me during one of the most important moments of their lives. Being chosen to stand with them as they begin their marriage is a privilege I never take for granted. Seeing their joy and love knowing I’ve helped create a ceremony they’ll cherish forever is the most rewarding part of my work.
What sets me apart is my genuine connection with people. I believe every love story deserves to be celebrated with warmth, professionalism, and authenticity. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all ceremonies. Instead, I work closely with each couple to ensure their ceremony reflects who they are, making every wedding unique and unforgettable.
My mission is simple: to create Memorable Moments that couples and their loved ones will treasure for a lifetime.
We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
I don’t believe my journey has been defined by luck as much as it has been by perseverance, preparation, and faith. There have certainly been moments that felt like good fortune—meeting incredible couples, receiving referrals from past clients, and having opportunities to grow my business through word of mouth. Those experiences have been blessings, and I’m deeply grateful for them.
At the same time, there have been challenges that could have been seen as bad luck, from slower seasons to the uncertainties that come with owning a small business. Instead of letting those moments discourage me, I chose to see them as opportunities to learn, improve, and become more resilient.
I believe that when you consistently show up with integrity, treat people with kindness, and give your best to every couple you serve, opportunities naturally follow. My journey has taught me that success isn’t about luck alone—it’s about staying committed to your purpose, even when the path isn’t easy.
