Today we’d like to introduce you to Natalie and Lacie Britt.
Hi Natalie and Lacie, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
In November of 2022, my wife and I decided to start a small cleaning business. We did this because, for the past year, we have been helping my wife’s sister who found out she had brain cancer. We went to her house weekly and cleaned it, organized it, and brought her a home-cooked meal as well.
Her sister gave us the idea to start this company because she was so impressed with our cleaning/organizational skills. We did just that, and though we are just starting, we have a handful of loyal clientele that are satisfied every single time!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not been a smooth road at all. Just like with all small businesses, the startup can be rocky. Many costs are incurred when you begin and maintain a business. We are not smooth sailing just yet but we’re on a steady path.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
We specialize in cleaning, but I (Natalie) have an Associate in Paralegal Studies and do some freelance work for some of our cleaning clientele. I offer clerical services as well. My wife(Lacie) is a full-time student on the road to becoming a Cybersecurity analyst. You could say that we are very well-rounded and can offer much more than just cleaning.
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
Integrity is the most vital aspect of our success. Being able to do the right thing when no one is looking is very important. We have the trust of our clientele to be in their most personal of spaces and we have the utmost respect for that.
