Hi Quan, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
The brand NJacks and Company started officially in June of 2019 after a few years of growing. Its overall look is to give a modernized feel to timeless clothing. The clothing brand is heavily influenced by hip hop culture and everyday lifestyle. Our goal is for people to feel fresh and confident when wearing NJacks, while also building a community along the way.
Motto: It’ll All Make Sense Soon.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has been a bumpy road along the way, but nothing worth having will come easy. No matter what, stay consistent and keep going.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a fashion designer that comes from a background of art (BFA with a concentration in graphic design). Art comes in many forms and my goal is to express it in every step of the process. My specialty is clothing and having an eye for what looks good. Each piece that I design serves a purpose, whether it’s the headline or supporting act. The impact will be felt.
Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
My advice will always be to just go for it first and foremost. Then I usually tell people to start local with building your brand if possible. Building those relationships and having the support from your community helps. Also, plan out your steps, it will save you money and time in most cases.
