Life & Work with Renatus Ren

Today we’d like to introduce you to Renatus Ren.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I have been a bodyworker for most of my life. I started in massage therapy and then realized I had gifts within my mediumship, that lead me to the path of Reiki and energy healing. I have a passion for tarot, herbalism, and yoga as well. When Covid hit, I started practicing spiritual clearings for people using an egg, called a Limpia. Limpias has shown me the power of symbolism when it comes to healing the body. I like the idea of walking someone down the path of “who they are”, telling a story, and reinventing what is common. I have learned from many elders in the community and am grateful to be on the path I am today. I travel with my work mostly and am looking to grow my talents in Lockhart, Texas.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
This path wasn’t easy for me but it has helped me lose my ego and see through the common patterns of struggle and survivalism. My Great Grandmother, Luddie, had a gift of healing and I feel like it transformed into my body. I know that, as an artist and medium, explaining what I do for a living can be difficult. When I listen to my heart, my love shines through and people gravitate to me. I feel like the best life lesson that I have learned on this path, is to define yourself and your gifts. To allow yourself to be financially independent, ask other small business owners questions, stay curious about yourself.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a somatic bodyworker, I specialize in energy clearings, called Limpias. I also read tarot and practice massage. I am very proud that I have had the honor of learning old magic, the ways of my ancestors. I am proud that I have extended my knowledge into the somatic arts, taking a class on shadow and sexuality with the Shakti Shiva Academy in South Africa. I feel that my sessions are very, intimate and I like to work with my clients years at a time. Most of my clients have been coming to see me for years. I love that. I feel like at the moment, I am like a feather, drifting in and out of Texas, building my client base in Dallas, Houston, and Lockhart. My goal is to have clients on the West and East Coast.

Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc?
I like the co-star app. I listen to Ali’s tarot on youtube and the Kapacha Report. I have lots of books that keep me stimulated, I feel like talking to other healers, really helps me.
