Today we’d like to introduce you to Sade Hebert Ashworth.
Hi Sade, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My name is Sade’ Hebert Ashworth, and I am the founder of Finishing Touches by Sade’. I am located in Beaumont, Tx. I have been a lifelong lover of makeup, and in 2019 I became a lash artist, and in 2021 I discovered ( PMU ) Semi-Permanent Makeup. I am always asked the million-dollar question, how did you get this far today, and my answer is always Praying, manifestations, and trusting God. I never move unless he tells me to move. And simple, I work hard, really hard. I still work a full time job as a correctional officer, and just as much work I put in over there, I put into my business. It may sound crazy but they are both my passion.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, it’s never a smooth road. Nothing comes easy. For me, I love a good challenge, and everything I put my mind too, I make sure it’s a challenge that’s going to make my mind work. The struggle comes with being an entrepreneur. Don’t let nobody fool you. You will have your season, but what I would say is when the road gets bumpy, please trust and remember your “WHY.”
The biggest challenge I faced was not believing in myself when it came to doing permanent makeup. I went and helped Zuri out with a training class and I remember her looking at me and she stated, “ SADE’ just start . “ that is when I started, that moment is when I got over my fear.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a semi-permanent makeup artist, and a lash technician. I am well-known for the both. I am most proud of semi-permanent, that is my baby. I take so much pride in doing brows.
Wow, what sets me apart is that I’m just different In so many ways. I stand on following up, integrity, being kind, making sure my clients can trust me, and loving on my clients. I believe when you are in business, customer service is the number one goal. I always stand on “TREAT PEOPLE HOW YOU WANT TO BE TREATED.”
Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
Yes, I listen to clubhouse, reading is my relaxation, my favorite book is ( WISE HER STILL by Tiffany Kemeni ) I always go back and read that book. I also listen to Sarah Jack Roberts she Gets my day started.
