Today we’d like to introduce you to Steven Green.

Hi Steven, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My wife Diana Green and I always dreamed of owing a family business. I was working in the transportation business managing truck drivers and a distribution site while Diana worked as an oncology nurse. I walked away from my corporate job to start DSG Luxury Transportation with my wife. With my 15 years of experience managing transportation operations for Fortune 500 companies and my wife’s skill in creative and business management/marketing, we were able to grow our business faster than your normal start-up. We subcontracted our company with Nick Preston, Owner/CEO of CNP Luxury Transportation where we were able to start off with daily bookings. We began to grow in Chamber County when my wife and I came up with an airport transfer deal that moved through county like rapid fire. I transported Mont Belvieu’s chief of police and chambers county sheriff. Both individuals posted our business on social media urging the community to use our company for their transportation needs. Our phone hasn’t stop ringing since that day. Only being in business 6 months, we have transported celebrities, athletes, and upstanding members of Houston and surrounding areas.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Our biggest challenge when we started was trying to mimic what other companies were doing instead of running our business the way we knew how. Once we started doing it our way, it all came together.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I worked managing Fortune 500 companies transportation and distribution sectors for over 10 years. My wife Diana has been a registered nurse for over 10 years.

What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
I feel that our sense of community and service sets us apart. Our goal is to be able to provide luxury transportation at an affordable cost.
