Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Entering the balloon industry was a journey filled with challenges, particularly in finding creators who looked like me or were willing to share valuable resources. However, I took charge of my growth by enrolling in a Balloon Masterclass in Houston with a local artist, Houston We Have a Party. This transformative experience launched me into the events world, and I quickly recognized that to elevate my business, I needed a mentor to provide a solid blueprint and to pursue further education. I’m now confident in my path forward and excited for what lies ahead.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
As a licensed professional counselor specializing in higher education, my role involves advocating for and educating students with disabilities to ensure they receive the necessary accessibility services and accommodations for academic success. In my business and practice, I am recognized for delivering an exceptional experience, fostering a team environment that treats each individual like family, and valuing their decision to work with us.

At HTX. Creative Co., every event tells a story, and our journey begins with you. With a background in counseling, I truly believe that understanding the unique needs of each client is the heart of unforgettable events.

When you share your vision with us, we dive deep into what makes your experience special. From the smallest details to the grandest ideas, every decision is crafted to enhance your story. The Creative Crew works tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure everything unfolds seamlessly, so you can focus on making memories.

Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
I have a different perspective on the concept of luck. For me, what truly drives success is a combination of hard work, dedication, determination, and the strength I draw from my faith. My passion lies in event planning, while my purpose is rooted in counseling. I believe that my journey has been shaped more by effort than by chance. There have been times when I felt the need to work significantly harder to earn my place in environments where others may have experienced fortunate breaks. Nevertheless, I remain committed to my path and the values that guide me.
