Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany Jones.
Hi Tiffany, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started my podcast, *The Blck Impact*, because growing up I often felt like I didn’t have a voice or a safe space to express myself. As I got older, I realized I wasn’t the only person who felt that way. Many people carry pain, trauma, and experiences they were never encouraged to talk about.
I also started this platform because I wanted to break generational cycles. I began recognizing behaviors, beliefs, and patterns that had been passed down through generations in my family and community that no longer served us. Instead of continuing those cycles, I wanted to create space for healing, growth, and honest conversations.
The Blck Impact* was created to give people, especially within the Black community, a voice. Mental health, trauma, and difficult life experiences have often been topics that are avoided or stigmatized. Through my podcast, I provide a platform for people to share their stories, have uncomfortable but necessary conversations, and inspire others on their healing journeys. My goal is to help people feel seen, heard, and empowered to break cycles and create healthier futures for themselves and their families.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, it definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. In many ways, my life itself hasn’t been a smooth road, and that’s part of what inspired me to create this platform. I’m still on my own healing journey, and I wanted to create a space where others could feel seen, heard, and supported while navigating theirs.
When I started *The Blck Impact*, I knew very little about podcasting. I simply had an idea and a passion for giving people a voice. From there, I had to learn everything from scratch—recording, editing, interviewing guests, promoting episodes, and building a platform. Every step required me to learn something new.
One of the biggest challenges was staying consistent and believing in myself, even when growth was slow or things felt overwhelming. I had to push myself outside of my comfort zone, become more vulnerable, and show up authentically—not just for myself, but for the people who listen to and depend on the conversations we have.
There were moments when I questioned whether I was doing enough or whether I should keep going, but I remained committed to the vision. What started as a simple idea has grown into a platform that creates meaningful conversations around healing, mental health, and breaking generational cycles.
Today, nearly three years later, the journey has become easier because I’ve gained experience and confidence, but I’m still learning and growing every day. The challenges haven’t disappeared, but they’ve taught me resilience, patience, and the importance of trusting the process.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am the host and creator of *The Blck Impact*, a podcast dedicated to healing, personal growth, mental health awareness, and breaking generational cycles within the Black community. Through honest and sometimes uncomfortable conversations, I create a space where people can share their stories, gain new perspectives, and feel empowered on their healing journeys.
I specialize in facilitating authentic conversations that encourage self-reflection, healing, and growth. Whether I’m interviewing guests, discussing mental health, or exploring topics related to trauma and resilience, my goal is always to create meaningful dialogue that helps people feel seen and understood.
What I am most proud of is that while I am on my own healing journey, I have been able to bring others along with me. This platform isn’t built on perfection—it’s built on authenticity. I show up for myself, and I show up for others. Knowing that people listen, relate, and find value in these conversations makes all the challenges worthwhile.
What sets me apart is simply that no one is me. No one has lived my experiences, walked my path, or has my perspective. Every person’s story is unique, and mine is no different. I bring my personality, vulnerability, curiosity, and life experiences into every conversation. The questions I ask, the way I connect with guests, and the environment I create are all reflections of who I am. At the end of the day, I am the finishing touch that makes *The Blck Impact* what it is, and that’s something no one else can duplicate.
What matters most to you?
What matters most to me is creating a space where people feel safe enough to be themselves, share their experiences, and have the uncomfortable conversations they’ve never felt comfortable having before. For so many people, especially within the Black community, there are topics that are often avoided—whether it’s mental health, trauma, communication, boundaries, or unhealthy relationship patterns. I want to help change that.
My goal is for people to not only listen to the conversations on *The Blck Impact* but also take away tools they can apply to their own lives. Whether it’s learning how to communicate more effectively, set healthy boundaries, overcome codependency, heal from past experiences, or simply become more self-aware, I want people to leave feeling empowered to grow into the best version of themselves.
What makes this work so meaningful to me is knowing that the conversations are reaching people. Every comment, like, share, message, or view reminds me that someone connected with the message. It lets me know that the work is making an impact and that people are resonating with the content. Those moments remind me that I’m on the right path and encourage me to keep showing up, sharing, and creating a space for healing and growth.
At the end of the day, what matters most is helping people feel seen, heard, and supported as they navigate their own journeys toward healing and self-discovery.
