Hi Victoria, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My story began at a young age as a teenage mom. At seventeen, I welcomed my first child, followed by my second at nineteen. I lacked goals and grand plan, but by the grace of God, I had a clear vision of what I wanted in life for myself and my family. With no college degree, I recognized in order to turn my aspirations into my reality, I needed to learn a trade and pursue a career. From an early age, I’ve always had an artistic spirit and loved creating by hand. I gravitated towards the beauty industry, enrolling in cosmetology school. After nearly two successful decades of dedicated service to clients, I honed my craft, built an incredible network of relationships and sharpened my business skills, I felt led to embark on a new business venture.
In 2022, I took a leap of faith and introduced Scripted and Bloomed: Luxury Faux Floral Designs. Who can resist beautiful everlasting blooms? S&B has become an exciting new avenue for me to express my creativity and design for others. What began as a small idea to create pristine quality faux designs is now on its second year of business and is in full Bloom! You can find my timeless arrangements online or at a local pop-up market in the vibrant city of Houston.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I’d be lying if I told you it’s been a smooth journey! There are still days when doubt creeps in and I question myself. On those challenging days, I make effort to remind myself of my accomplishments and look to how far I’ve come. I’ve learned that all of my trials and errors in business and my personal life have shaped me into the strong boss lady I am today. I spent many early career years trying to create a successful life on my own. It wasn’t until I let God take the lead that everything began to fit together like a puzzle. I’m at a point in my life where I believe true success is measured by our most greatest and priceless possessions, such as faith, family, and time well spent.
To all the young women out there embarking on a similar journeys; know that you are worthy, your mind is a powerful thing, and with God all things are possible. Matthew 19:26. We’re all blessed with a gift, use yours and go get it!

I’ve been so blessed to personally experience Jesus’s goodness in my life. So, why not?

That makes me smile!

People are often taken aback when they discover that I’ve been married to my husband and father to our children for the past nineteen years. Has it been effortless? Certainly not! Yet, it’s been a true blessing to journey through life together, sharing a common vision for our family. He’s my rock, my best friend, and one of my biggest supporters. Behind-the-scenes, he’s my go-to guy, always willing to step in when I need an extra hand prepping my designs. He says he’s my Freelancer who’s still waiting on his wages. Ha!
