Life & Work with Victoria Kauam of Houston

Today we’d like to introduce you to Victoria Kauam.

Victoria, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started my journey in the artistic world when I was 14, as an actress, model, and broadcaster. Over time, I discovered that my true calling was to help others believe in themselves. That’s how Expo Photo Book was born: a space for people to discover their best version through the lens.

But this project is more than art. it’s purpose. I’ve learned that God is the true owner of this vision, the One who placed in me the desire to love others through creativity. Every person who has been part of Expo Photo Book was chosen by Him for a reason. My mission is to remind them that their name was written before they were born, that they came into this world to shine, and that when we connect with that divine light, we illuminate others too.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Every meaningful journey comes with challenges, and Expo Photo Book has been no exception.

There were moments when resources were limited, when doors seemed to close, and when I questioned how to keep moving forward.
But each of those moments taught me something valuable that when God gives you a vision, He also gives you the strength and the people you need to make it happen.

Today, I’m grateful for every challenge, because they made Expo Photo Book stronger, more authentic, and more aligned with its purpose.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Through Expo Photo Book, I create experiences that combine art, photography, and personal growth. My work focuses on helping people rediscover their confidence and see themselves from a new perspective.

What sets me apart is my ability to connect creativity with purpose, turning a photo session into a journey of self discovery.

I’m most proud of seeing people transform, smile again, and realize how powerful they truly are.

Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
True connections come when you lead with purpose, not expectations. God places the right people in your path at the perfect time, each one to teach, inspire, or bless your journey
