Aaron, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I have been in the outdoor lighting business for much of my life, managing for other companies throughout the Austin to Houston areas. Having over 20 years in the electrical industry and 15 years in the custom outdoor lighting industry, I saw customer service lacking and a poor quality product being provided to customers’ time-after-time. Knowing that I could do a better job, I founded Houston Luxury Lighting.
Providing a quality, reliable, and affordable product is very important to me. Houston Luxury Lighting differs from most exterior lighting companies. Being an artist all of my life, each project is truly a custom painting, customized hand-in-hand between the owner and myself. Unlike standard cookie-cutter applications claiming to provide custom outdoor lighting, we have partnered hand-in-hand with our U.S. based manufacturer to provide a truly custom-made fixture for each custom-made application, all while maintaining an affordable and competitive price tag.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Starting any business, of course you will have some struggles. I have been truly blessed because I haven’t had any large issues. I have a great product, crew, and deliver the best end result for my customers as possible. I know that I can take any residential or commercial outdoor lighting project and bring it to life.
