Today we’d like to introduce you to Adeyemi (A.D) Adebiyi.
Adeyemi, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I’m fully self-taught and has always had a heart for photography. Elite Photography started 4 years ago but I’ve been taking photos, editing, and growing as an artist for over 17 years. I started my professional career as a graphic designer and would often times take photos for my client’s projects. Over the years people started asking me for various photo sessions, my first wedding shoot was actually my sister.
Eventually, after a few years of doing this, I bought more High-End professional cameras and equipment and the rest is history.
I want to capture the memories you make so they can be passed on for the future to know you. Believe in the tangible. To us photography is about people being real and then letting us paint a picture of that moment to remember it forever. This is the story that matters most: real people, real stories, and real moments.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No. The saying goes “anything that is worth doing takes time, effort and always has hardship”…
In my case, early on in my business development I was also dealing with a very ugly divorce from my first wife and building a business that requires Expense equipment, a Marketing budget, time for event promotion and to build a professional portfolio was all but impossible, with Court dates and Lawyer fees.
Many times I wanted to give up, just end it all…
But with the prayers and encouragement from my Grand Mother, I was able to refocus and rebuild, and learn to over-come a lot of the emotional hurdles and continue to push forward.
Once the divorce was finally over my present wife then stepped in and played a very important part of my recovery.

I am known for giving it my all, from beginning to the end.
Weddings are very fast and demanding events, so if you miss a moment it’s missed forever.
I pride myself in always being ready to take a picture. Building a relationship with my couple is also very important. I done this by making sure my Bride is Happy, because it’s her day.
I’m always ready to help and make sure to keep everyone on time; everyone but my bride – lol. I also find myself picking up trash off the dance floor, moving chairs, wiping the floors and even getting into little tussles with location owners and some vendors.
Whatever it takes within reason – to make the day go great for my bride.
What sets me apart –
I’m different from a lot of other wedding photographer, in many ways and to list a few
1. No Picture Limits – on Average I take and deliver over 1000 images
2. Pre-Wedding Coverage – I’m will be on location between 1 hour and 1.5 early.
3. All Enhanced images – Photos are Color corrected and Skin softened.
4. Full Print Rights – No restrictions on Prints, Size or Quantity.
5. Delivery time – In most cases I provide my clients with all the images to review under a week
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
I have many proud moments so it’s hard to pick just one…
But if I must, the proudest moments is when I have a bride calling me crying on the phone about how great her pictures look…
Yes, the feeling can’t be explained… A bride crying on the phone over a picture and how it makes her feel when she looks at it…
