Today we’d like to introduce you to Aisha Anwer.
Hi Aisha, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My content creation journey started on TikTok as a creative outlet where I planned to share mostly aesthetic videos. Over time, it naturally evolved into something much more personal. I began posting day-in-the-life vlogs, wedding content, travel videos, beauty, fashion, and pieces of my everyday life.
The name **Aishaszindagi** actually came from a separate Instagram account where I shared photos from my digital camera. One day, I decided to use that name on TikTok and later realized that “zindagi” means “life,” making the name translate to “Aisha’s life.” What made that even more meaningful was discovering that my own name, Aisha, means “she who lives.” It felt like everything had come full circle, and from that moment on, I knew I wanted my content to reflect my life and experiences in an authentic way.
As I continued experimenting with different types of content, my Get Ready With Me videos and wedding dance content began gaining traction. Around September 2023, my TikTok really started to grow, leading to my first brand collaborations and PR opportunities. During that same period, I was also navigating a difficult chapter in my personal life. Creating content became something positive I could pour my energy into, and having a platform built around my own name made it feel even more meaningful. It reminded me to keep creating and trust the process.
In August 2024, I reached 10,000 followers on TikTok, which was a huge milestone for me. Since then, I’ve continued exploring new creative styles, and lately I’ve been loving making cinematic montages that feel like movie trailers. Today, my content is centered around embracing life, stepping outside of your comfort zone, and inspiring others to make the most of every experience. Whether that’s through travel, celebrating culture, or simply finding joy in the little moments.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, but it’s one I wouldn’t change. One of my biggest challenges has been learning how to balance everything. At one point, I was creating content while completing my internship, pursuing my master’s degree, and launching my small business. Managing content deadlines alongside school, work, and my personal life wasn’t easy, but it taught me how to prioritize my time and stay disciplined.
There have also been challenges that come with content creation itself. many people don’t realize how much work happens behind the scenes. Living in Houston means constantly working around unpredictable weather, whether it’s extreme heat, humidity, or sudden rain. I’ve also learned that setting up a camera and filming yourself isn’t as effortless as it looks. Some days you’re simply not in the mood to get dressed, set up the tripod, and be on camera, but consistency is what separates a hobby from something you truly want to build.
I think one of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that not every piece of content will perform well, and that’s okay. Growth isn’t always linear. There are moments when videos don’t get the views you hoped for or ideas don’t work out, but those experiences have pushed me to keep experimenting, improving, and creating because I genuinely enjoy the process. Looking back, every challenge has helped shape both me and the creator I am today.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Outside of content creation, I’ve always been passionate about making a positive impact in my community. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Public Health at 20 years old and went on to complete my Master of Public Health at 22. Today, I work for a nonprofit organization focused on youth mentoring, where I have the opportunity to help support meaningful relationships that positively impact young people’s lives.
As a content creator, I don’t like to limit myself to one niche. My platform is a reflection of my life, which includes travel, fashion, beauty, cultural weddings, day-in-the-life vlogs, and cinematic montages that capture experiences in a creative way. I enjoy documenting moments that inspire people to get out, try something new, and appreciate the beauty in everyday life.
What I’m most proud of is how many different roles I’ve been able to embrace at such a young age. There was a time when I struggled with self-confidence and questioned whether I was capable of achieving the goals I had for myself. Looking back now, it’s a full-circle moment to see how much I’ve accomplished, especially during times when others didn’t always believe in my potential. Through it all, my faith has been my foundation. I’m incredibly thankful to God for guiding my path and opening doors I never imagined possible.
I think what sets me apart is that I don’t create content to fit into one category or chase trends. I create content that genuinely reflects who I am. Whether I’m sharing my travels, celebrating my culture, documenting everyday moments, or balancing my career and personal life, my goal is to inspire others to live life fully while staying authentic to themselves. Building a platform under my own name and creating a community around that is something I’ll always be proud of.
What makes you happy?
What makes me happiest is spending quality time with the people I love, whether that’s my family or my friends. I’m someone who truly values experiences and making memories, whether we’re traveling somewhere new, trying a new restaurant, or simply spending time together at home. Those moments are what I remember the most.
I also love trying new things and stepping outside of my comfort zone. I think that’s one of the reasons I enjoy creating content so much! It gives me an opportunity to experience life in new ways and share those moments with others. At the same time, I’m someone who enjoys balance. I love being in lively, energetic environments just as much as I appreciate quiet days at home reading a good book or relaxing.
I would say it’s pretty easy for me to find happiness because I try to appreciate the little things in life. Whether it’s a meaningful conversation, a beautiful sunset, or accomplishing a goal I’ve been working toward, I believe happiness comes from being present and grateful. My faith has also played a huge role in shaping that mindset and reminding me to appreciate every season of life.
