Today we’d like to introduce you to Alana Hubbell.
Alana, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Started out as a hobby once I had my oldest daughter in 2014. After my father passed in 2015, I found it became my creative outlet, then it became clear, I had a passion for photography and the editing process. I started photography sessions for family and friends, once request started to come in from outside people I decided to take my passion and turn it into a business. Once my business became up and running, I realized that I made the right career choice. Today, my business is thriving with repeat customers and referrals.
Has it been a smooth road?
As far as clients its been a smooth transition from hobby to career. The biggest struggle at first was trying to afford the better camera, lenses, and editing software. I only wanted to give paying clients the best high-quality products I possibly could.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Alana Danielle Photography story. Tell us more about the business.
I am a photographer based out of Houston and surrounding cities. I specialize in family, children, maternity, engagement, boudoir, and other creative photoshoots by request. I am most proud of all the growth and knowledge I’ve gained in these past couples of years with my photography and editing skills, which has allowed my work to be featured in several magazines. I believe what sets me apart from other photographers would be my creativity to think outside of the box and to bring a vision to life.
How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
I will continue to expand my knowledge and creativity while maintaining integrity for the craft I am so passionate about. And going forward, I see myself opening a studio in the future as to where clients can come and I can create a more in-depth photo session.
