Today we’d like to introduce you to Alonso Rijan.
Hi Alonso, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I first started airbrushing full-time when I first turned 20. I started at 19, working for free for a teacher I had back in high school. It caught my interest on how he was the only one with a Mercedes Benz. So, I worked for free for about 5 months. After that, he offered me a job, and ever since I have been airbrushing at least 5 – 12 hours in a day for 6-7 days in a week. Airbrush has taught me a lot within life. Airbrushing is an amazing creation.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
No, it has not been so smooth as it seems lol. However, the ups and downs always lead to victories and lessons. Some of my struggles getting started is really everything, like cleaning nice clean letters/ doing nice color fades, and also doing designs that don’t look so blurry.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I do custom airbrush tee shirts/shoes/canvases. I mostly do tee shirts with 90s/ 2000s theme. I am most proud of myself for how much I have accomplished in the last 3 years. What sets me apart from others is the consistency and quality of the airbrush is cleaner.
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
The quality most important to my success is having a plan. Do not rush everything into your head. Take step by step.
